Hadley - just rang them now.
Double with En Suite is $90/night, room rate - two people - $45/night each. With the 10% group booking discount brings it to about $41/night each.

If you're happy with that let me know and I'll add you to the spreadsheet tonight.

IcyRose - have PM'd Aura to try and confirm if she's staying with Duckeh or not, just waiting to hear back at the moment. Will update the other details into the spreadsheet tonight with todays info.

Things are semi-hectic for her atm, so she may or may not be checking her PMs. No idea if it'll help, but I'll send her a txt telling her to check her PMs, lol.

Heh, a few minutes of confusion later. Just txt'd her aswell. She's still coming to Auck, just not staying at the dorms. I thought from your post she might not be coming to auck, lol. No worries, sorted now. So Auras off the list, but it looks like we're still picking up a few other people along the way with Hadley & Narya joining in.

Also did you or any of the other Auck peoples decide if it was worth staying at the dorms or are you going to brave Auck's transport. Razz

I decided that I'm too cheap. n_n; If it was just me going, I'd probably go for the hell of it, but it's me + vaughan + alex + jen + val, and Vaughan and Alex can't afford it, and seeing as we can carpool, we may as well. :3

OK, So I guess we're placing the booking today.

Will - Hadley & Narya are definitely confirmed? Would have been nice if they'd confirmed themselves given they'll be the most expensive (5 days @ ~$82/night for the room), but if they're definitely 100% then ok.

IcyRose - any other final things before I ring them? I'm going to be really busy today (new company bosses), so I won't be checking as regularly, but if you need to reach me for anything urgent text me on 021 70 33 57 (same for anyone else if it's in relations to the booking). Otherwise I'll try to get some time to contact them this afternoon.

I have nothing else to add at this current moment. I have yet to hear back from TheDiscarded so I'll let you handle how to deal with his unconfirmed status. Otherwise, I suppose the only other thing left to do is set up how payment will be handled, which I imagine will occur after booking.

OK, sounds like Anne-Maries also going on holiday, so Ally will be taking over from tomorrow, and then Amy gets back on the 24th. Almost sounds like I'll have dealt with their entire staff soon.

At any rate, Anne-Maries confirmed they've provisionally booked the two 8 bed dorms and there's no massive hurry so I'll email her the confirmed booking from home tonight when I have more time. (and not two new bosses in the office with me).

Wissy - at the moment you're the last one on an odd day, so we'll have to decide what to do about that, but I can talk to you when I come up for the Sakura festival this weekend anyway (feel free to remind me, i'm likely to switch off by weekend at this rate - lol).

Seraphik - I know you're likely to drop a day or so in the middle, so just let me know the plans closer to the time so I can update the spreadhseet. At the moment it's calculated based on the assumption you'll be there for the whole weekend, so don't freak at the figures. Razz

The guts of the email was to book the room with 8 people confirmed for the dorm, and two couples in private rooms. They should still have the other 8 bed set side for us aswell so if we get another 4+ people who are interested we can adjust the booking to include either a 4, 6 or 8 in addition to what we've already confirmed.

Now for the monies. I'm covering the 20% booking deposit on my creditcard, so I'd like to get 20% from everyone that's staying in the next week or two, with the remainder of their stay costs at least 1 week before checkin.
