ATTENTION EVERYONE: quote from White Studios got. However, it is more expensive than I worked out before - the website prices are GST exclusive, and there are a couple of charges that aren't stated but we probably don't want to forgo: namely, aircon/heating ($30) and insurance ($20.48 - I am so not letting this go!!). The total comes to $568.70 for everything, including GST.

For a ten hour day, allowing half an hour each for set up, pack out, and lunch, we can do 51 shoots. $568.70 divided by 51 shoots is $11.15. This is what you will pay per ten minute shoot - photographer-wise we have me, Midsummer_Snow, Seraphik and Tammy - and oodles of little cameras doing candids!

EVERYONE (and I mean everyone) needs to pay me in advance. As far as I know, we don't have to pay until the day, but I would like to pay ahead of time if possible. And if you don't pay, I will give your shoot to someone else. This is an expensive project, and payment in advance is not something I am prepared to negotiate on. We also need to fill all 51 shoots for this price to be accurate. We have four empty slots - so, fill 'em up quick!

If you can't/don't want to do an electronic deposit and you're not in Wellington, then please have someone do it for you. Don't post cash, and no, you cannot just pay on the day.

EDIT: Payment due NO LATER THAN July 11th! I would also like to stress the importance of being ON TIME. If you can, come early. If I can keep a little ahead of schedule, it mean mean no delays when I have to clear my memory card/adjust the lights/do the group shoots that aren't scheduled but will happen anyway.

ALSO - if you miss your shoot, you don't get your money back unless there is a very, very good reason you miss it. I'm talking death of a spouse or act of God here. If you need to cancel a couple of days in advance, that's fine (well, not fine, but acceptable), but if you're a no-show on the day, tough. SET YOUR ALARM CLOCKS PEOPLE. I will be there at 9 sharp to set up, first shoot is 9.30, so aim to be there at least ten minutes before your time slot. There are changing rooms and mirrors/makeup areas onsite, but don't push your luck for prep time!

Becky: Is it a DSLR? If not, you might have troubles with the lights! They're flash units, so need to be synced to take advantage; the little modeling lights they have in them (normal tungsten bulbs) put out a fraction of the light the flash does.

Tails: there's no slot booked for a FF group - a shoot is ten minutes long, but we don't tend to actually shoot for that long. We'll do it outside the scheduled shoots, so it won't interfere with the pricing :) And yes, I have booked a slot for Beth. Still trying to work out why googledocs is being a douche...

Tammy: Slots aren't booked in any order yet, just filling the list up first. Once I have 51 slots full I'll start arranging it and get it up on googledocs, then we can shuffle :)

Becky: Not sure - just sorting out with the studio when they need payment. If I can pay them on the day, 2 weeks out from the shoot is fine. That gives us enough time to fill up slots that people drop out of, if need be, or if we cant fill them, rearrange payment.

Not sure about the extra letters, but that means camera is big-ass enough, yes? 8D;;
