We played a lolly hunt in the church hall, balloon volleyball,
concentration, hand game (with glow sticks!), played some old vids of
the club, pass the parcel, present game, disney and anime dances and
battleships.

We watched goofy movie, howls, card captor sakura, rainbow brite and
had several games running; pokemon stadium and snap, chipmunks, guitar

There was a turnout of 38 people! We played a variety of games, pass the parcel and the present game, as well as battleships, and for the first time in NZ cosplay chess.

Halloween Christchurch Cosplay Club Party 2009 (HCCCP 2009)

About: The meeting to discuss what everyone wanted from the club, we met up at the square and then wandered down Columbo st.

~ The creation of the scatter run
~We got kicked out of KFC

First Unofficial Meeting
Info: 24th May
About: Random meet-up at the Museum/Arts centre.
~18 total (around 15 cosplayers)

First Official Meeting - COSPLAY PICNIC!

About: A picnic and crazy games, see after the spoiler
~Dances: caramell, chicken dance, gravitation, Hare Hare Yukai, Lucky Star

About: many hours of playing on the UFO ... okay I exaggerate ^^ and good old fish'n'chips. ~17 people and 5 cosplayers

Trip to New Brighton
Info: 28th June
About:
meet at square/bus exchange, went to Brighton, library, savemart, $2
shop, woolworths, had fish and chips. We also ran out onto the pier in
the cold rain for fun. Half of us returned to town for some timezone.
After timezone, some of us went over to Willuknight’s to watch anime
~We all looked like we had gone swimming, congrats to everyone who braved the weather to come join us =D.
~ 21 people, 10 cosplaying
~Special Guest: IcyRose came up from Dunedin.

Cosplay Sewing Party
Info: 9th July Wed and thread
About: there were 3 sewing machines, 1 overlocker, and a roll of chicken wire which was turning into an awesome wing.

Cosplay Shopping and Laser Strike
Info: 12th July Sat and thread
About: Casual cosplay get together, we met at moorhouse hoyts after Laserstrike where we made our way to various shops.
~ 11 for laserstrike, 17 for food or shopping.
~ the blue team won laserstrike thanks to having Steve on the team hahah
~ Shopping was epic, we found heaps of crazy clothes and Steve found a lovely bedtime book
~ Crazy_Lady and Stormy came up for the weekend from Oamaru.

Photoshoot 01 – Mt Hutt
Info: 13th July Sun and thread
About: We drove up to the top of Mt Cook to take some great photos
~Highlights – sliding down the slope on a toboggan made out of the tire tray in my car
~spending an hour putting on snow chains and getting completely muddy and then finding out it didn’t really make a difference
~being immature and smashing a snowman

be creative and make a christmas-themed cosplay. We had intros, moogle
moggle chocobo, battleships, food, caramell, lucky star, hare hare
