~Retro Games/Anime/Cartoons Night~

What: We bring any old cartoons and anime we may have on video tapes/dvd's/laptops, as well as some old games (sega anyone?) We'll have a night of watching and playing the pure gold oldies. To top it off, you can cosplay! But wait there's more, retro-style cosplay!
Oh no, I lied, one more thing, we will also be celebrating Lavi's birthday! =D We need someone to make a cake! XD
When: 6th June
Time: 6 - 10.30 (organisers come 5.30-11)
Where: Its going to be held at the Church hall on the Corner Oxford Terrace and Madras Street.
What to bring:
~ A gold coin donation, this will be going to the church for hall hire.
~ anything games/moves retro like
~ a food item to share (have dinner at home though =D)

t.v + video player = for retro shows on tapes
dataprojector = for retro shows on dvds

What we need:
t.v (for retro gams)
laptop (for dvds) - do we want one laptop and people bring discs/usb etc to play their stuff on? Or people just bring their laptops? Either or maybe?

Actually maybe we should start a list of what we have and can bring?

I've got all of shinzo, and various old cartoons on video tapes when I find them and make sure they work lol.
I can bring my sega with like 20 games o_O
and probably one of my old computers ... fact LOL I should bring the really old one that takes cd-size floppy discs rofl.

Edit, I second Mefu, if anyone cosplays Dr. Robotnik I will also give chocolate Razz

I can't make much of a contribution with retro consoles, but maybe I'll bring my 20-year-old Apple computer (lol, black & white screen!) It can't run any games but it can store Word documents up to TEN PAGES LONG!

Ooh ooh and someone should bring a copy of Labyrinth. Not anime, but sufficiently retro.
