Anyone else looking forward to this? I've had a chance to take a look at the Japanese version on the PSP, and I am SOOOOO going to get the english version on release day!

Yeah I've seen my friend playing the Jap version...I can't wait 'til it comes out here!!!

I downloaded and played the free demo of it.. and let me just say I think I made a mess in my pants from playing it...

But until it comes out I still have Crisis core to keep me happy ^^

So apparently the HK Sony stores have imported in the US version, because I saw it while I was out today and thought 'what the heck' and got it.

Looking forward to playing it on my way to work tomorrow. Tonight I'll just re-charge my PSP. I LOVE FF but I'm busy with other games right now so I don't have a massive amount of time to play.

I loled looking at the cast list at the back of the booklet. Looks like Square America raided half of Funnimation's vocal talent for this game. XD (ah well, James Arnold Taylor is back as Tidus and that's all I needed to know <3)

(I spent so many years being LECTURED that it should be said 'TIDE-us' it drove me insane!)

Also, this game is amazing. Better than Crisis Core, IMO (sorry CC fans, it just wasn't really my thing).

Also, Zidane is so much love! One of the top tier fighters too, I think! :3

And I always cringe when I hear 'Tide-us'. It sounds kinda....my fellow Tidus-fan friend and I talked about it the other night. Sounds kinda uppity to us which doesn't suit Tidus at all (that and, ya know, Japanese way of pronouncing I sounds).

And yes, Zi-dahn. It does grow on you, though (as does his English voice, I really don't get the haters for the English cast. But anything translated from Japanese gets that these days so I guess I just tend to ignore).

Dunno kinda the opposite and cringe when hearing " Tee- Dus " because when FFX was coming out read heaps of PlayStation magazines and talked to many FFX fans and we always said " Tide-us "..

But then Kingdom Hearts came out almost a year later and..

" Tee- Dus " ..? gonk

It sounds weird.

But nevermind ! Is really looking forward to this game playing out ! And is hoping to see some TV adds and some media hype over here when it comes out because crisis core got nothing ! ;___:

XD I guess that's what Square gets for still giving the option to re-name a main character in a game that has voice acting. Notice they've taken it away since then in games like FFXII? X3

Poor Tidus. His name will forever be a huge debate.

Jade is awesome for giving me Dissidia and Axel, you are equally awesome for hacking my PSP for me :'D chuu~!

Anyway, I played a bit of the arcade mode (I think it was the arcade mode) on Jade's PSP - Onion Knight seems to be my best character so far haha (short like meeee! ...and that was the whole basis of why I chose him first HARDY-HAR-HAR)

Meanwhile, I always said 'Tie-dus' and 'Zih-dayne' myself... but that's because of the way it's written. You should've heard the way I first said 'subpoena'.... -facepalm-
And on James Arnold Taylor's website, it said that they debated the pronunciation of the name when recording but decided to stick to the Japanese, which was 'Tee-dus'. His name is from Okinawa, so it's Japanese in origin.... I dunno, 'Tie-dus' just seems to flow better for me. But yeah... eternal debate.
