...and I think it was being sent to dad's work, so I won't get it till he gets home. >.< But I got an email yesterday saying it had been posted, so it SHOULD arrive today...

Naaah, I just installed the ofw 5.55 off the UMD to play it. I have my own pandora's battery, so I can revert back to cfw any time I like~

When you get the chance, make sure to buy voice tracks to play in the museum. I just gave myself hours of entertainment listening to those last night. Some of my fave encounter lines:

Ohh man. I'm loving Dissidia 8D I'm slightly miffed at the fact that Firion has no close-range physical attacks except for the one where you grab your enemy and smash 'em.... that's lots of fun xDD

Completed Warrior of Light's Story (first?) Odyssey. I'm pretty good with Warrior of Light Very Happy

(doing them in chronological order). I think I'm actually kind of crap at it.... but oh well. It's fun ^__^

MY COPY HAS ARRIVED AND ALEX'S HASN'T, HAHAH!. ...but my psp battery is dead so not only will I now wait till the battery is full, but I lost my unsaved ff7 data too. >.< Oh well, at least I don't have to find a save point now... x_x

The ranged characters are basically the ones I play, well Kuja and Terra are the ones I've had the most fun with. Will probably put some effort into learning how to play Emperor properly, same applies with Cecil and Golbez.

Don't like the Light Warrior either. He seems so.... prefect and boring...

Was kinda hoping for the red haired / red amour character that we had in the FF1 Fighter class..

Not a guy who is perfect and probably had no problems or issues in his life from his birth...

Because of his controls/fighting style or because of his character? (Personally I love Warrior of Light 8D He's soooo cool /fangirl) I love his controls myself, I got really good at using them. Then again, his story was five stars and I started on it first... maybe all those retries were good practice, haha.

Finished Firion yesterday and just finished Onion Knight a few hours ago... Am I going too fast? o.o
Was initially annoyed with Firion's controls because he was a bit on the slow side but I got used to his controls and kicked some major Emperor butt, hahaha >D So I quite enjoy fighting as him now. I take back what I said before sweatdrop

(Plus it's sort of fun floating in midair shooting arrows at people)
Also initially I couldn't take him seriously because of his voice... Johnny Yong Bosch sort of used his Adachi voice from P4 and Adachi's kind of a geek XD; But I got it later on. I felt that Firion was a lot more... how do I say. Casual? Lighthearted? Than his original self. Or maybe that's because of my lack of super-insight in FFII.

(BTW, it could just be me but... does the Emperor remind anyone else of Jareth the Goblin King from Labyrinth? IDK. I looked at him and went WTF Jareth is in Dissidia xD;; )

Onion Knight was... interesting. His controls I mean. They were easy enough to master anyway :) There was a sort of overbalance of Magic to Physical attacks but otherwise was okay. I loved the little close-range attacks you could get in (and I love when he stumbled when he was too far away. So cute. xD)
I felt his character was very well-done! The guy who voiced him (Aaron Spann) is about 18-19 so I felt that was cool, rather than getting a woman to voice him. I felt his pitch kind of fluxed a bit.... but w/e. He was still cool. And his death-scream is the shizz Very Happy

I'm a bit iffy that they called Terra's EX-Mode 'Trance' as in IX instead of 'Esper'. Square, did you forget?? D: Or did they decide "OKAY IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE TRANCE MODE SO LET'S BE LAZY AND CALL IT THAT". Come oooooon. xD Terra was awesome then though. I saw an inkling of her original self in there :) Maybe just a bit.

I LOL'd at this part though [paraphrasing by yours truly]:

Am onto Cecil's story! Awww, brotherly love. XD; I love how originally in IV it was "WHUT U R MAI BRO" nearer the end (I think?) but in Dissidia it's more like "O HAI THAR BRO HOW YA DOIN'".
Loving his controls at the moment 8D I might think twice about who I main as later on.

BTW, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this in the FFs and it's sort of redundant, but:

Kefka amuses me greatly! But he has so much prancing that sometimes he makes himself too much of an easy target. XD

Li-bai - The Emperor/Goblin King has been brought up SO MUCH in the GameFAQs forum. Believe me, MANY people are aware and loving it! ;P

@ Cloud - I THINK you CAN get that version of WOL. If you buy his alternate clothes. You'll only see them when you play as him (not in cutscenes) but it's there! Same as Bartz clothes looking like he skinned a Zebra like in Armano's art of him (another costume you can buy) and Terra having mint green hair (which was done simply to avoid confusion with game sprites in the original game, as she was intended to be blonde originally).

You can also get Cloud's Advent Children Look, Squall in his SeeD uniform, and Tidus in a version much like his FFX look (but it also has the high collar with the jewel on it, ect).

Muh, on a final note, I can't stop looking at Cecil's purple upper lip. IT DISTRACTS MEEEE! XD

btw...Bartz, Zidane and Tidus are totally my Bromance trio of this game. I know Tidus isn't with the other two as much but DARN if these three aren't adorkable together! Final Fantasy - Dissidia - Page 4 3772
