HEY GUYS!

So the ball is fast approaching and it seems some people would like help with their cosplays.
Or maybe you would like to come along and learn something new, or possibly you have another general cosplay you want help with. Well whatever the reason there is going to be another sewing meet for you to come along!

When: Sat 1st August
Where: Alices wonderful home ^_^
Time: 10/11am fabric shopping, noon/1pm sewing

Age doesn't affect sewing machines that much

I'm very keen for sewing and shopping! Plus I could offer my place again if it's after 1pm still! What ever is easiest. The plus about my place is that people could drop their things here before fabric shopping as I'm very close to spotlight/fabric vision etc.....

although i do have my eye on one of the new fancy electronic once with the screen and the buttons and the 239842835 different stitches. @-@

Fancy sewing machines are great!! So wish I had the money for one! As for my place - happy to help! It's closer and convenient and has lots of room to spread out for fabric cutting - plus I'll hopefully have it tidier so you can see the space better!

It's ok we fixed it - but then the stupid bobbin did stupid things while I was sewing Claes for Dunedin!! So fingers crossed it's behaving its self again!

about the fabric shopping:
Probably meet outside kutwells and go to all the fabrics stores before heading off to Alices house.

I will need some major help though as the only thing I've sewn in my life is a bag! sweatdrop

Are we going to look for patterns as well? I'm thinking of a couple of cosplays which look simple enough. What and were is Kutwells?! :think:

Kutwells is a shop opposite south city. It's one of a few fabric shops we'll visit and there will be patterns at spotlight and fabric vision ^_^

Should I bring along pictures of the cosplay(s) I want to do so I have an idea of what patterns to look for? :think:

yip! bring pictures (and many if possible)
then you can also get the right colours ectetc
