Cool, it's like the old gang is turning up!! Def bring pics of what you want, many different angles is very good. Maybe even if you have time look up the main pattern companies online (ie Simplicity, McCall/Butterick -same company) and have a look through their patterns for ideas - it makes it easier and less crowded when looking at the pattern books. Also make sure you printer has enough ink for the right colours to come out.

Changed mind many times, but maybe thought about making Ariel's human dress from The Little Mermaid, just always- always- always wanted to wear her dress. It was just so cool ^_^

Looks pretty easy to make, just bring lots of pics of it from different angles and one or two full on pics (ie can see all of the dress). It shouldn't be very hard to find pics of it! Very Happy

Just been going through some pics of Ariel for you, Cloud and the hardest part will be the shirt sleeves - which are always a pain and her black bodice thingy but they shouldn't be too hard to do with all these sewers around for tips!

Also for those buying patterns - make sure you have measurements of your height, waist and bust so you can get the right pattern size.

Hakama are easy to maaake! It only takes, like, 4 hours to do the whole thing! 8D

yeah...
looking at this: http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/1/l_9dcc11e65aaf4f1aa4c5ed1fcc8ac4c1.gif image, you can see the pleats, but they're not at the front like normal...
HMMMMMMMM.

The consensus on coscom says hakama though... SO MAKE THE HAKAMA 8D

They're traditional japanese pants, used lots in anime/manga (Bleach esp.) 'cause they look cool~ ^^
