The ball last year was really fun but it was a bit rushed

So this time I'm starting earlier so it can be even more epic

I wanna make it themed next year so please post your suggestions and when there's afew I'll make a poll and then you can vote ^^

Please only post suggestions and don't go off topic ^^

Where: Oxford Terrace Baptist Church
When: 21st August
Time: 7pm-11pm

I was about to type "there was a ball .... ? " but then I remembered that I even went to it -_-' exam stress ftl.

A theme would be good, as well as decorations etc. I think a generally all round improvement on the organisation would be good, (aren't I so helpful). I'm sure you can top last years, especially with more preperation.

My only input on "themes" would be that it should be something general, i.e. even if it is "related to cosplay" no specifics - no "final fantasy theme", make the theme options something that could be added to any cosplay (i.e. like how people can do xmas/halloween versions of cosplay characters for those holidays)

Could have a 'good vs Bad' theme or 'Light vs Dark'
then people could easily have a cosplay that would fit into one of those groups.

Could also have a play on words. My youth group is having a 'Snow-Ball' Razz

Pseudonym: I planned it all within a month this year so I'm trying to get a head start on everything for next year so it will be better organised ^^

Mandie: A 'light vs dark' theme would work really well..... I'll see what other ideas come up. After speaking to a friend they want a masqurade ball ^^

Hmmmm ok I think we'll ditch the masqurade idea and just make it optional ^^

How about..

Heroes VS Villains.. ?

Like Harry Potter and Voldemort or something..

lol Voldemort at a formal ball..

People could team up and one could go as Luke Skywalker and the other Darth Vader..
Or couples could go as the villain and hero.. or whatever...

hmm assuming im going to light it again light vs dark could make for an interesting challenge for me.. i like it.. and by the way the whole hero vs villian thing fits perfectly with light vs dark.. good plan people

oh yeah and on the topic of Masqurade everyone has done a masquerade ball a million times lets not do it again please

Really loved the Circus theme idea, Cinderella, Victorian England Austin Powers and the Japan theme would suit the cnzers great =]

I most prefer the light versus dark theme.
Mainly because I want to cosplay Lelouch, once I finally fix the collar with new wire xD
