ah i think not, purple is not a brilliant idea i have only seen purple work nicely once and that was a special for a show not as room lighting. so if my experience counts for anything lets not use purple

i mean purple is fine but if you want purple i suggest you have it the themeing because like i say it doesnt look good when done with lights

Question: Does this ball have a age limit? Would love to come but if its got things like alchohol involved it would probably be a no-go for me =l

No need to bring a partner. Just bring some friends and have fun!!

Also is a non-alcoholic event.
If any one brings alcohol I will kick them out.

Also if anyone turns up drunk off their face (even if they have a pre-brought ticket) they will NOT be allowed in.

Phew ^.^ In that case can't wait! Definitely think we should do Dark vs Light theme, already thinking of costumes *is lost in imagination*

Any idea how much tickets will be? Or are costs for lighting etc still being sorted?

It's a CNZ event and most of the time (when it's a big one like the ball) it's non-alcoholic ^^

The tickets will most likely be $5 pre-brought and $10 at the door like last time ^^
I'll talk to our (amazing) lighting person and figure how much the lights will cost ^^
So the ticket prices for pre-brought may change but it won't go above $10

Also would totally love to see what kind of kicking you would do in your costume!
(though NTRLY cos I wouldn't want anyone to miss out, so they'd better come sober).

^All CCC events are alcohol free, it's in our rules (because we have quite a few young members - one is 10years)

@Olli, another thing that we may need is some REAL bouncers. Why? Because we don't want anyone to crash the party and turn it into something else (does that make sense?) Mainly for safety reasons I guess...
-or perhaps a few of the older guys and girls would like to volunteer as the 'supervision'

Hmmmmm I might see how much it would be......
Though I'll also ask for volunteers and have two people on at each time on a rotating plan where they swap every half hour (so they don't get bored ^^)

how much it would be? Just try find some volunteers for it (and give them free entry) they don't have to be cosplayers. Maybe a parent or older friends etcetc

Just invite the local 501st/Outpost 42! I can do that, I work with one.
However real drunks are likely to hassle people in trooper costume. And you can't really dance in them.
I can try to talk drunks around, I'm not afraid of it. I'm sure some of the other guys would too.
Real bouncers would cost real money! And I don't think we need them.

During the rest of the week I'm gonna be sorting out what I need to get sorted and a good time frame to get it all done in.

Hey I have talked to the 501st. Basically there are only two troopers left here. Andy may come, if we wish to invite them. But he is not sure of the other one.
