All-purpose Bioware thread!

I would so love to cosplay Tali, you don't even. It would be SO HARD to do though. The materials you'd have to work with for the suits... agh. I've also been thinking about doing FemShep in the N7 armour, but again, the material. Yikes. It's totally a dream of mine to cosplay something from the series, though.

@Superarmy, I AGREE. I'm playing a Vanguard this time, they're my default team. When I was an infiltrator it was Garrus and either Samara or Thane.

How come you're not interested in Miranda (you could use your natural hair). Is her character reeaaally bad?

yesh......... did u not see what jakc said about her? no one likes her, she purposly has "it" with maleshep in a place were tali always is and jack works near just so they know your "hers" ( jack is a girl) i really dislike her!

tali cosplay would be amzing! i would love to see some do it here in nz!

I just don't really like Miranda. She's not a terrible character, just not as interesting as the other female team members, and is kinda uppity about everything. Same goes for Jacob on the mens side. It could also just be because they're Cerberus and THEY KILLED KAHOKU. Yes, that is how much I liked a less-than-secondary character from the first game.

At least Jacob is a nice guy, though. Miranda is just... a big meanie, but without the psycho of Jack.

I thought Miranda and MaleShep doing it in the Engine Room was weird... I mean... They're the only two people with their OWN PRIVATE ROOMS and... the Engine Room? Really?

I would probably die of happiness if I saw someone cosplaying a Mass Effect character here. SO WANT TO DO IT.

Edited to add: WOW that Saren looks like it's going to be good. That guy made an awesome Gordon Freeman, too! Yay!

Just played ME2 PC version through for the first time.
Male shep, soldier. I didn't get on to the ship upgrades until it was too late!

Now Im doing femshep and going ...uh... not the paragon.
But yeah, awesome game! Im gonna buy ME1 just to see what the story's about- and save Wrex.

RENEGADE. I love Renegade Femshep. Jennifer Hale is just insanely perfect for the role. Also yes, Wrex <3 He's a bro'.

Ugh what the hell. For the longest time I thought this was the All-purpose Bioshock thread. I am now going to go through this and bang on about my manlove for Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

Fun Fact: Didn't know Steve Blum voiced Grunt in ME2 until I got something signed for a friend at Wellygeddon and he signed it 'Grunt'.

Oh most of my team survived except Miranda and Legion, but they weren't loyal to me. The cheerleader is too much work- I reckon she's more messed up than Jack, she even called Jack a "mistake" but its not like she can talk!- I miss Legion though. I had to choose between Legion and Tali, and I chose Tali, cos stealing someones omnitool data is just wrong.

I was sad because the Collectors came and took all my crew though (I actually liked talking to Kelly the most)... Im hoping the ship upgrades prevent that from happening again.

@Saboteur- yeah, Im gonna order it in soon- Part I right?

Addit: Steve Blum's voice as Grunt was freakin awesomesauce!!!
BTW Grunt is my favourite character, and he has the best loyalty quest.

If you choose the Charm (Paragon) or Intimidate (Renegade) choices, they're the coloured ones that show up on the left, you can weasel your way out of most of these confrontations. You need to use them quite regularly though, and doing more Paragon/Renegade options gives you better influence so you can actually use the options.

The Collectors taking your crew is part of the story, that will always happen. If you go straight through the Omega 6 relay and DON'T visit anywhere else, you can save them all; including Kelly!

I'm up to my 3rd play through of Mass effect. Male Shepard, trying for 100 paragon, sentinel
I absolutely LOVE this game it has so much replay value. I have to say that Tali is the best out of the girls to romance because she is so interesting and it's fun to guess what's under that mask =D

On my first play through i had just meet legion and decided to go for the final mission he was the first one to go i literally screamed/laughed at my self for being so unprepared [ i about lost everyone but grunt,jacob,garrus and samara}

for a awesome talk scene between Garrus and Tali talking bout the old days, bring them to the citadel and walk around the stair areas. if your lucky they have a funny conversation. i think there is a youtube video somewhere about it....

Oh yeah and anyone else find it hard to get renegade up? it's cool but i just can't be mean to save my life

I try to do full renegade, I really do. I CAN'T DO IT. If it was just talking, I could do it, because I do quite like to be a smarmy wrench. But a lot of the time it involves smacking people around (okay, it was fun with the reporter) and even killing 'em, which is much harder! My first run on ME2 I tried it, but ended up with 75% renegade, 60% paragon (roughly)... And I was not trying to get paragon.

I couldn't do it in ME1 either! I think to get full renegade you had to just kill all the settlers controlled by the big plant thing on uhh... Feros? I couldn't do it!

Also I totally agree on Tali, but I've had a girlcrush on her since ME1, sooo...

Did not know that either... arrgggh, and I blamed it on lack of upgrades. Save the Yeoman, save the world!

As for Baldur's Gate- isn't Level 10's character from part 1? If not then I might just jump to part 2- does Minsc have the same voice actor for both?
