Hand painting FTW?

I'm almost done hand painting my bib - I gotta touch up on the front flames + orb, finish the back ying yang orb, 2 more rectangles and I'll be done!
Then I gotta bias trim it and everything. ;A;
Still got a petticoat to make... AND A PORTAL! Which means MORE HAND PAINTING! THE EYES OH THE EYESSSSSSS

I have a sewing machine again!! I can now start getting everything ready to sew for my CCC Amazing Race cosplay. Funny side story: I told my mum I was going to start sewing again and she just groaned. Razz

I think she was either thinking about the mess I make when I sew or how I leave things to the last minute....

Doing too much at once, again...

Finishing some mods to my Spartan armour before taking it to Queenstown in June. Also broke out the Big Daddy, might try to finish it for Auckland Armageddon this year

I spent 13 hours today tracing and cutting out duraceal stencils for my kimono. orz MY FINGER HURTS. Now to pass out... I underestimated how long it would take, so the actual painting will have to wait until Friday. sad

Made the robin necklace last night. boiled to set the cernit, it broke apart. Then made another one, did not get to sleep until midnight. It's all ready to go, to be boiled tonight. If this doesn't work I am going to just glue the other one together. General Progress - Page 29 37781

Oops - my bad. Well if it was meant to be a purple dress then that would have worked to make it less so. Guess it's back to the calibration grid >.< Personally I'd complain to the people who sold me mine if it wasn't correctly calibrated considering mine is new and shiny and had a price tag to match. Also, somewhat designing for a living so is somewhat necessary.

Have bought the wigs for my side project (one of them anyway.) Can't wait to pick them up and make them one super-awesome-wig!
