I remember that. That was the year my friend and I entered as Labyrinth (Fiery and Goblin King) and won. We both felt at the time yours deserved a technical award. 'twas truly epic. Have to say you have outdone yourself with your remake. it is an even nicer fit than the original. Was it as much of a pain to sew this time 'round?

Lol! I'm trying to pull an all nighter so I can finally get some friggin' cosplay work done!

I'm doing technical trials for hot-glue-and-rub-'n-buff armour.
Things I have learned so far - hot glue comes up beautiful with rub'n'buff, so long as you leave it overnight before you try to buff it. But for a good slimy look, put another layer of hot glue over the rub'n'buff while it's still wet. I didn't WANT a slimy look, but it's still an awesome effect. One I may well use somewhere else.
Also learned that hot glue doesn't stick to my pleather. Next trial is getting threads IN the hotglue that can be used to attach the hot-glue armour to my vambraces.
I'm also going to trial du-kitt and rub'n'buff. Just to see how it goes.

I know drag queens sometimes use birdseed in old pantyhose. For the size you want it may be better to use bean-bag pellets :)

Actually, sox are kinda unpleasant as they push up against your chest... and I suspect actually having real breasts to start with might make it even more annoying...
The double layered balloons worked quite well... *squishy squishy* They have a bit of give to your body's shape...

Thats why mine were double layered, but cheah, I did experience that terror on more than one occasion...
Still... Socks pushing my chest in made breathing problematic after a while, and I hurt for several days afterwards, but the balloons kinda molded to my chest. The only problem (which I hope you will not get to enjoy) was the interaction between chest hair, and slightly sweaty balloons...
