Finished the base for Alice 8D Just need to do the bow, petticoat, and sew buttons on the arm bands~

i just need to make the hat brim stiff with MORE stuffing (what you can see there is a sofa cushion and a half),add wire to the hat, and add fluffy stuff to the jacket then i'm almost done!!! 8D

SO. GATHERING.

I have discovered that without a dummy (person or model) to pin fabric on, it doesn't work. My waist has got so many pin holes from the fail that was just trying to pin the skirt on myself.

SO LET'S JUST MAKE A CIRCLE SKIRT. Very Happy

Of course, having ~~not~~ enough fabric is always fun.

(and yes, the front is longer than the back which is why one of the circles is huuuger than the other. :3)

I've received my skates for Agito/Akito, and I'm gonna need atleast 3 helpers during judging, I can't even stand still cause they're so slippery ~~& I forgot how to skate~~ *facepalm*

Are they required to be functional, Icarus? You could glue the wheels together, then just wear them like difficult-to-balance normal shoes? (think of walking on ice-skates, lol)

Argh. Upon finally (FINALLY) dyeing the lace pieces for my Ivy train the right colour, I decided they clashed with the belt, and so am not using them. DAMMIT. I now need to go back to the drawing board, and find something else to do with the train.

Anyways, I has made some progress already~ VK symboll cut out now in Fabric (Zero symbol to go!). I use this thingy that made the material stiffer, but was a n00b and melted the plastic onto the ironing board >_>
But with the help of Rina I got it alll off~~

lol. I couldn't find fusible interfacing as strong as I needed so I made my own fusible interfacing with glue XD It worked at least lol.

I kind of but not really sewed through my finger 8DD

BLOOD WAS SPILT

But anywho, petticoat for Alice almost done, got to just sew it together, trim the netting and sew the lace on. Then just do the bow and she's done~ ~~once I get a wig~~
