Lol yup I'm fine <3 I was just stupid and put my finger too close to the needle as I was sewing. I pulled away as soon as I realised what was happening, it just sliced through the very tip XD

Though now my plaster is being annoying >___<

@azeria LOL i did that too before because I was distracted with a Suzumiya Haruhi episode. Went right through the finger tip XD Don't you just love it when you're more concerned about getting blood on your cosplay than your actual well being XDDD LOL

I have paid for Rue shoes and unpicked a commission that needs resizing
Work was crazy tonight so will continue with cosplay later in the morning 83

@mandie: it's for wellygeddon, they've got breaks, but I'm too scared half the time to use them encase I fall over backwards *facepalm*

now progress report: after spending half the day on Len's butt yesterday, I showed mum the jacket so far and she told me I made it wrong -______- but I agreed in the end and unpicked most the days work to redo it
sewn up the bottom and sides, hand sewed trimming to the sleeves edges, and hotglued the based of Len's sword~ (he has one cause I want one >D)

Uhm, just some cotton material. I had to use this stiffener called "HEATnBOND ULTRAHOLD" >_> The first time I used it, I melted the plastic to the ironing board. Fail indeed.
Which made it allot easyer to craftknife. I printed out the simble, stuck it on the back (The paper part) and then craft-knifed the whole thing from there. (I really should have done it at a desk. My back hurted from the leaning over. >_<)

my general progress:
just finished the 2 bows for my secret cosplay~ just got to go to KUTWELLS and get some good quality cotton for the under skirt then I'm all done~

Don't worry I cut the tip of my finger off (about 2mm) with a pair of secateurs at work once. It took years, but it grew back, I can't even tell which finger it was, it even has it's fingerprint back.

Progress of sorts. Found more references, all wrong! Found some guys project to document the uniform, still looks wrong to me. Oh, and I ordered supposedly the best book on kilt making (hope it arrives quick). Bonus I found and ordered, on CD-Rom, for a out of print reference for historical Irish/Scottish clothing.

If only I could find a pattern for uniform shirts.

Finished skanky schoolgirl commission, am dyeing fabric for another as I type, and will endeavour to recut three leotards before work tonight. I should be good - although Tammy? YOU ARE SMALLER THAN MY SMALLEST DUMMY. VERY INCONVENIENT!

Hey Static, if you're recutting fabric for our leotards, would it my possible to make the hip part high waisted? I realised during fitting that it makes my legs look short and stubby. D:

@thread: bought all the other fabric I need to finish off my commissions now to resize the blazer, unpick an entire skirt, cut out new lining, reline the jacket, cut and sew a male kimono and sew a haori, gi and hakama

lol being able to do this in less than 2 days 8DDD hahaha //flails around helplessly

@Alena: yeeep. I currently have three, two female and one male. Tammy would actually be okay if she wasn't binding...but lol. My male one isn't adjustable, so displaying the final Tammy!costume will be interesting!

Tammy: I've just finished dyeing your fabric, and it's going through a wash cycle now. Will photograph in about an hour!

@Lucy, that fabric is so beautiful! With your handpainting on there, it becomes OVER 9000 TIMES MORE BEAUTIFUL!!!!

It looks great! I would never be able to paint something so symmetrical and neat!
