Strawberry Panic! dress and Ho-Oh gijinka. I can't do much more on the dress until I get buttons. The skirt needs cutting up carefully and then it's done.

I just practiced binding this morning with a wide roll of sports bandage. The first few minutes was like OH GAWD I CAN'T BREATHE but then... I got used to it?? Usually I don't bother but I think I might need it for Saturday cosplay (Hotaru = tall, lanky male. Of which I am none of the above.)

Okay, so: today I dyed a bunch of lace black, and did a gradient dyejob on fabric that was supposed to dye. It did not. The lace is also too light - it is black, but sitting right next to the other stuff that's been dyed, it is very clearly different...so I an RE dyeing it. Annoyed about the dress, but I suppose there's not much to be done on that front.

Plan for afternoon - finish dyeing second lot of lace, and hang out first lot of fabric that has just finished dyeing, and go to the Fabric Warehouse and get more fabric for replacement dress.

ALSO - my Ivy sword now has its segments screwed to the tubing, and each is full of insulation foam. When it's cured, I just need to cut it back and paper mache the segments, then paint and it's done!

I'm nearly done with one side of the wings, then I couldn't stand getting feather fiber up my nose so I'm back to working on the kogarasumaru uniform. (THE UNIFORM SUCKS MORE THAN THE WEDDING DRESS D: )

the sleeves are finished up with some alterations, gonna get the zip added hopefully tonight~

WIP of Akito's wings

they're about 1m long, I'm shet scared of walking through door ways with them on, they're quite fragile ;________;

any ideas on how I can take them safely to Wellygeddon...?

@Icarus;; If i remember correctly Tails wrapped her ultimecia wings up in sheets or something and carefully lay them in the back of the car. I reckon you should carefully wrap them up. Make sure to take extra feathers and glue on the day incase some feathers accidently come off ^^ good luck~!

I don't think it'll work, the feathers stick out too far from the base to allow them to be wrapped without the feathers getting 'snapped' hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, strings and a box............
