If you can show me specifically what tone of red and black you need I'll try make an effort to go to the Geoff's Emp in Henderson since they sell scraps of leather for below $5. Srsly. I THINK they have black but not sure about red.

Though they do have a red-brown if thats ok?

hrm ... while i know where to get bright red PVC (think Britney Spears oops I did it again bright red pvc)

though will keep an eye out for brown-red/dark red pvc/pleather/leather 83

It's a bit darker than that but I can make do. Come to think of it I might have some red pvc left over from Yoko... But it's too bright for Zephie I think. ><

I'll have to mish it to every single fabric store in the Wellington region. Or tear apart my red leather bag...

Rani: tried fabric warehouse? They have some random stuff in there, and doesn't spotlight have red upholstery vinyl? Or does it need to be softer/not so stiff?

Yeah it needs to be softer. And I tried getting some last time, but I looked at "$20 per metre" and cried a little inside.

Actually I cried a lot outside, and it was rather embarrassing for my sister because I was throwing a tantrum in the middle of spotlight. I'll try the Fabric Warehouse. Expensive train rides here I come!

Oh, oh - Sylvie, which shipping method did you use to get it to arrive in about a week? The 1st Class Mail INTL is by far the cheapest, but their site doesn't say how long it takes. D: (I've emailed them, but thought I'd ask you too)

I always use the cheapest - the next one up is usually exorbitant! My orders have always arrived within a week. I do like me some Dharma. :3

Yeah, it's $16.90 for Mail or $32.35 for Priority mail. ._. I know that Cosworx uses Priority Mail, and that usually takes about a week though, so I'm worried that the 1st class mail might take longer... >.<

It shouldn't do - if it took 8 or 9 days, yeah, sure; I doubt it'd take longer than that. It's up to you though :)

The $16.90 postage apparently takes 10-15 days... I don't know if I should risk that or not ($32NZD for dye that mightn't even arrive in time?) - and I don't want to pay the priority shipping because that'll cost me $50NZD. ...I don't care how amazing this dye is, I'm not paying $50 for it, lol.

...should I go for the $16.90 shipping price, and then if it doesn't arrive in time, use the dylon stuff? :S

But even $30 for dye that I'm not guaranteed will arrive in time? :S I'm almost wondering about just going with the dylon stuff and adding some of that black dye I mentioned - it's a very murky brown I need anyway with the HTK colours.
