Magna Carta Group 2010 (Sunday) [closed]

SO. In the interests of applying for leave in time for DO, when will this amazing shoot be happening? I propose the sunday after DO - meet in Albert Park at 10am, and wander from there. If we want to do a mission to a beach, or even to the Wainamu Dunes (WHICH WOULD BE physics AWESOME OH MY GOD) we can do that in the afternoon if we have enough cars :)

....ohwait. The ball is saturday night! Is sunday the best choice? Shooting will take a while, and if we want to do more than one location we'll need most of a day. How many people can take friday off for a roadtrip? We could do a short shoot friday and another one sunday avo?

Edit: This shoot was done at the dunes, which is about 45min drive from the city (very close to Bethell's Beach). It is waaay bigger than these photos show, and they did some filming for Hercules and Xena (I think!) out that way. Examplero: http://gallery.little-noise.com/main.php?g2_itemId=9281

craps i planned the curry cookoff for the day ... though i can change the timing =w=;;

hurr and as long as the weather keeps up i know a host of places all over the cbd which would be suitable choices for the photoshoot

I need to get me some flip flops or something that don't kill my feet...

Don't worry 8D most of the places in mind center mostly around Albert Park and Auckland Uni. Though if you want something more 'modern' per se like clean cut lines and modernish buildings then we could also venture to the other side to AUT 83

and i guarantee hill walking ups and downs will be kept to a minimum 8D

though if people can give me more ideas on where they think good places would be (e.g. grungy, clean cut, etc. im bad at these things ...) I can keep an eye out for them and make a list <3

Also *cough*the curry cookoff *cough* will be in albert park (probably) and involve the consumption of curry or gratin/lasagna/or whatever I end up making (for those who dont eat spicy) during an hour suitable for lunch or possibly later 8D (so yes after the photoshoot probably and yes i do want you peoples to come along ...)

Awesome - we will wait for a few more replies, then finalise. I've put in for friday-sunday off, so I'm easy whatever day, but would prefer friday. Fewer people milling around parks and such, and less stress and clashes! Can people get people to post their preference please? Very Happy
