Crocell's shoes are basically normal shoes, so I have as much mobility as I would usually have in a typical cosplay of mine. Which is normal mobility

THE MORE HILARIOUSLY AWKWARD, THE BETTER. i hope noone is peeking in at this because i want it to be a surprise, but. the skit so far (i had to start it from scratch again tonight because my old laptop died) opens with a serious song from tears of blood, & i'll make streamers/flags for everyone attached to sticks sorta like the FFIV skit last year so they'll think it'll be. serious. (if jess/alex/jen are okay with this)

and then it pauses and fades into 'push it' from glee. B|

Lining/mock-up is sewn and looks pretty sugar honey iced tea, but I think I'm just cranky. I suspect my butt is possibly bigger than the butt I have my dressform set to, which does not bode well, and I think I need to chuck in a dart around the boobs, and change the seam near the neckline a little. I'm too dissatisfied to take a photo right now, but I might when I get home from work tomorrow. Tomorrow night is homework night though, so I won't be making any more progress till Monday.

Question though: I'm too lazy/cheap/confused to look into the Dharma trading dyes, so I'm wondering - has anyone used the new dylon dyes or the RIT dyes? Both have a dark brown which I think will be okay, but I've only used the old dylon tins (which admittedly have worked well for me, but I digress). It's cotton sateen, so it shouldn't be too hard to dye, but chyeah. Just wondering if anyone has anything to say on the matter.

I MADE LOTS OF PROGRESS~~
I made a mock of the front of the top and about to do the back. After I finish the top, I can breeze through the rest of the costume! Top is just the most complicated part..
