I'm a person who could spend hrs just looking through the pattern books - in actual fact I've spent a few afternoons just doing that and not even looking for something in particular! This is why I spend lots of time doing the pattern looking online... it saves space for other people who actually need to have a look! My aunt took me to Spotlight a while ago and couldn't believe how long I could spend there at the pattern section - even though I warned her I could spend a few hrs here.

I wanna be Puck. xD I nearly got to play the role of Puck in a school drama, but then the whole play never happened and I was not a happy-camper. T_T

It's pretty much guaranteed that you'd get the character you want. As for playing Puck - I can't wait to see what you do with him!! I love Puck, he's so mischievous!

I know @_@ I'm going to have so much fun trying to make a costume. HE'S SO RAD.
Although, I have next to no costume-making skills, so I will probably end up surrendering to my Mother and letting her make it. xD

Or if you have the time - try and piece something together with clothes you already have? Unless you have something really awesome in mind? Remember you can cosplay as anyone you want - you just need to incorporate something Puckish into it!

Oh, that's a good point. I have bags and bags of op-shop/hand-me-downs lying around. I could totally throw something together and then just make my hair crazy. ^_^;

The last fantasy book I read had puck as the no 3 character. It was a modern one, but with weres, ogres, puck, and some other race too evil to comprehend.

Um ... do we have to have to cosplay an anime character who we think will represent our character? Because I'm going as Queen Tatiana and I cannot think of any character that would suit her, whom I like and whose costume I would be able to make. :think:

I can think of one character who suits her very well and whom I'd love to cosplay as but there's no way I'd be able to make the costume with my lack of skills, no sewing machine doesn't help matters either. I'm really stuck for ideas here, can anyone help me brainstorm please? puppyeyes

You just need to pick any anime/manga/game etc character you like then find something that represents your murder mystery character (in your case soemthing like a crown?) and incorporate that into your cosplay.

aI'm not cosplay an anime character... I'm cosplay as the lady herself from a movie ^_^
(well the character I'm doing anyway)

Yep, you can do what ever variation your heart desires... I recommend The Malthouse if you want to hire a costume - out of all the costume hire places I've been to, I'd say it's the best. I'm sure you'll be able to find something for Queen Tatiana!

She looks pretty! I don't mind either - I don't know either of the characters but still what ever one you'd like. You still have 2 months for this, plenty of time to decide and make.
