If you want to come to CHCH then you're welcome to join! Mandie - I might actually have a pattern suitable - will rummage through my boxes tonight - great thing is I know exactly where it is! It's simplicity fairy/floaty dress but might be a pain to sew as lots of sheer material....

It's your birthday of course I will be there. I will do head of the weres? or even the inquisitor. You should post the character list in post 1, as well as the list of people. Cause there is 11 pages now!

PS High Gothic feast is the Saturday after the 30th, although I don't care too much if I go.

In fact I was thinking of doing one of these myself for my own birthday next year. ~~Although it would probably be after my birthday as it's around xmas and most people have plans then, I think the SCCC will be on that weekend too.~~ sweatdrop

I'm not sure what cosplay to do for her maybe a fairy or queen type anime character? I was thinking of Neo queen Serenity but as I can't sew I would have to get that comissioned, that and the wig would be very expensive! ashamed

Maybe Mercedes from Odin Sphere but I don't really want to do her.

If anyone can help me think of a fairy or queen type character that I can cosplay for her please or someone that would suit her character, I would appreciate it. nodnod

Actually Jason sounds cool. But didn't someone want to do him. And I suppose the Inquisistor is a more important character to have? They usually are the most important. Will have to think about what to do with him. How to appear insubstantial?

Mandie - Well, we can go have fun looking at pretty fabrics at the sewing meet!!! That might have to do for now as the Ball is first. Also the pattern I have is this one here just in case you want to see it before deciding to use it.

Highlander - The Inquisitor is a main character and I have to have him/her/it filled first, like all the characters in red but if someone else wants to be them then you can have Jason. I'm just trying to get all the characters in red filled first - as they are essential to the plot lines....

Yeah so the inquisitor is a ball of energy/spirit type of guy? A challenge then. Wispy fabric? LEDS? Agate is a LED ledgend apparently. Flouro under wispy/opaque stuff?

It'll be better edited - it's not fancy but it doesn't look the best. I can show you what it looks like when you come round for sewing. Fabric shopping is the best and we have newbies so we have the excuse to linger, explain things and look at the pretty pattern books!! *happy dance*
