Food - any sort of nibbles would be great but maybe not too many of them to be sweet. Mains - good thinking food, sorry I know that's not very helpful! Um.... Food that is easy to make into larger portions. It doesn't have to be to theme of the party but it could be fun! Suggest food options to me people - it'll make things much easier for me!

Just like to know these thing, and it was Italian, so tomatoes was a good guess. :) So anyway, would you rather do the brandy snaps or the Italian dish (can do both but don't need to).

Do you cook as in from scratch or just the oven part? If it's from scratch then maybe not the best plan - if it's just cook then yes providing there isn't a huge rush for the kitchen.

All I ask is that you try your hardest - and if you can't mange for 10 then that's ok because there will be a few other main dishes, so everyone will have something to eat.

O.K. we have 18 people. So a rough plan;

We need snacks, drinks (OJ/soft drink, etc), entrees, mains (meat, vege, carb (eg. pasta/potatoe/rice), dessert, and drinks (Sparkling juice?, etc or hot drinks). All pre-prepared, with minimal cooling/reheating. (Could do a cold soup for entree?)

So roughly two people to bring each type of dish (the ones in italics) for about 9 people. (2 people feed 9 people each makes 18)
