If you stay with us, or some other group then you will be safe, unless you know someone in Auck you can stay with?

Will PM you tomorrow. But some other people have won and some have lost this argument with their parents. There always next year.

Me too! I just booked flight tickets! Smile Turned out to be a bit more expensive for me as I'd left it a bit late though. >_< *Whimpers at the early time* Dunno what cosplay I'll wear on the plane though, the metal buckles on my Sakura skirt will set the detector off and my other cosplay skirt is too short! XD

I'm all for Spookers or Rainbows end if people want to go or both, karoke and shopping too! nodnod cheers

As long as security know it's the buckles. They will just use the hand held on you. I set it off once.

i took a utility knife on the last plane i took to auckland, and i had a pen knife in my bag and they didn't even notice.

When my family went on holiday we had a whole bag specifically for all our knives.
Diving Knives, Hunting Knives, Pocket Knives...

@ Will, real? I got stopped for a little handcuff keychain (death note style) a friend in Auck got me. Hehehe, I was allowed to keep it though lol, I was told to keep it in my bag at all times. =P

Just fyi: Spookers is R18, and they're really strict on that, so if you're under 18 you won't be able to go.

A theme park, like a circus house of horrors sideshow thing aparently. But it's like in the country somewhat so transport is an issue, and the R18 thing.

PS. Fred don't you only arrive at 4pm anyway?

PPS. A little bit of metal is O.K., but I would never try to get a knife on board now. The foil on a panadol packet was enough to set the alarm off. Plus the belt buckle? But knives/swords will stay in my luggage.

Actually yeah, it was 16 when we went, but they do check ID, the guard person at the door went down the long line of people asking for ID. Yes, be wary of long lines for each attraction btw.
