Yay! Umm it'll be Thursday night, taking the plane on Friday morning coming back on Monday then busing back on Tuesday

So Thursday night and Monday night.

PS. What's closer to your place Chch bus stop or Chch Uni?

well, he's away from home for 5 days... extra clothes, cosplays, stuff he might buy up there etcetc small price to pay if he's over the limit for hand luggage ^_^;

though you could also share the 20kg with someone else if need be

Same flights as me I think. PS thats the down side of cheap tickets. You will pay more to transfer than to stay on the same flight. Check the website.

I'm with mandie. It is cheaper if you are not sure you can carry everything, only a few dollars, than to try to turn up with luggage, much earlier check in, and lots more money.

Accommodation, still checking that. There are suggestions of backpackers and busing, Ranfurly, which is motel rooms for five, walking distance, but fred has unearthed some reports of the owners trying to rip people off. Or another closer motel, 5/room, but more expensive. And not all of us are able or willing to pay too much. Have to ring them now.

Sure uni has the theory side, but at polytech its my ~~life~~ limbs im putting on the line.

I guess that depends on the course. Massey has vets, and pilot school. Horses sometimes decide to dent your forehead? Med school at Otago and Auckland. Just off the top of my head, but not the average student true. The worst I dealt with was radioactive stuff.

Yeah arts students are special. Still imoho, she will still have alot more to prepare for. Al bet not losing an arm. Are you really that worried by it? The scariest thing I do is use a chainsaw at work occasionally, they are mean.
