The way we planned you only need one days leave. Though depending on how early a shift you have on the Tuesday ...

Of course with shifts you may need more, or none.

The Oct roster isn't up yet but I should still be able to put in leave for it. Need to work out cost of flights/accommodation/geddon tickets before I do anything. Also who's cosplaying/dressing up/looking pretty (meaning you possibly Eevee)? Would I be the odd one out if I didn't cosplay?

You would be the odd coplayer out, but I am sure cosplayers are outnumbered by mundanes.

Tickets under $50? and plane $120-150+? Roughly. Accommodation depends on numbers but as cheap as $30/night if you stay with us. But convenient and comfortable. Motel across the road from the venue.

You know what, I think I should have considered how much this would cost lol. I haven't budgeted for it or anything. I just assumed I'd have enough money xD

So accommodation is $30 per night $90
How much are the tickets for the con?
+ travel to and from airport
+ Costumes
+ Stuff to buy at the con...
+ food
What else?

Yes Sakura allow of food. Con food probably awful and expensive, plus we need breaky and teas. So I think we going shopping. A few dollars for shuttles. And if we go out then thats extra too.

Cool, I'll see what my bank account will allow and post whether I'll be coming of not... (this could be instead of going to Oz at the end of september for the MLP Fair - I thin it'll cost about the same lol!)

maybe $300, plus social activities, plus food, plus purchases. But buy too much and you have to ship it home! But it is a holiday weekend, so if you wait too long then you will have to take what seats you can at whatever price.

Hey guys, just a tip for those getting to auckland early and needing to store their luggage - Sky City does free luggage check all day.

Just stroll on in, go up to the level the fortuna resturant is on, and next to the entrance to the resturant is the coat check.

You just fill out a form, they give you a ticket and you have all day to enjoy a light load - just don't forget to pick up your stuff before 24hrs are up ;)
