as people know, clubs day is this tuesday.

Animesoc has a stall, we don't know where though, we're aiming for under the library, but through the day we'll be screening anime and doing sign ups.

Look for the Churuya-san banner :) I'll be there until 2, so drop by say hello, and bring some friends along to join!

whoops should've done this earlier but i've been distracted by other things

thanks to everyone who signed up and said hi. we have over 60 members now!

First meeting was a success (according to those that participated). i didn't since I was elsewhere. the next meeting hasn't been scheduled, i'll be talking to the others about that.

Also if anyone not at UC you can still join in on the AnimeSoc site @ http://animesoc.comxa.com/index.html . you can find previous member emails there if you're interested.

So when is the next meet.
How do I sign up for emails.
I can't promise to make any meeting, my schedule changes, and early does not suit me.
But then I also have a major amount of DVDs. Of course not sure if they are licensed for large viewing. May be worth talking to madman. Although I own the discs so can't see how they can tell me what to do with them.

@ Highlander-at the moment the next meeting hasn't been scheduled but if you PM me with your email addy i'll pass it on to mappy (he sends out the newsletters). from the looks of things it will be tuesday evenings from 7-10ish.

there will be theme nights eg. vampire, shojo, ninja etc though at the moment it's just whatever people have on DVD or their laptops and it's put to a vote.

last week they showed Appleseed Ex Machina.

i have got to get better at organising myself.

we had the second meeting on tues with 18 people showing up.
neon genesis evangelion- you are (not) alone was screened as well as Kino no tabi and some AMVs someone made, not sure who but the pokemon/ transformers 2 one was cool.

i'll try to post something about the meetings before they occur, but i believe that mason has booked the international room for several weeks.

there should be one next tues 7-10pm but i'm not sure what would be shown. so it's a case of watch this space.

In case you're not sure, the meetings are basically regular, every tuesday at 7pm for three hours in the UCSA International room. Meetings will still take place over the two-week university break, but will be even less structured, and i won't be there..
