UPDATED: Sewing meet. Saturday 27th

Hey guys, want to come to the next sewing meet? My place next saturday (27th feb).

Start time: 1pm, but we'll finish whenever people start like stopping.

Bring your sewings and your sewing machines and whatever you want to work on for cosplay and come and chill.

YAY!! That's cool! I've put it by your name so I don't forget! This weekend might be too soon for some people to get organised but we'll see! I really need to start on some sewing as my aunt wants her machine back! But at the moment I'm only motivated to work on my staff/wand!

Actually, I'm planning a sewing meet at my church on the 21st of this month as well! (big, open lounge, lots of tables~ tempting~ tempting~) I just have to get organised and make the announcement posty things.

Great minds!!! The church actually sounds better as we wont have to move easels and stuff out of the way... If you get organised and it's a go feel free to use this thread! It seems that my basic look for events happening around these times wasn't so good if I missed the Vday meet... Razz

This way we have our meet and you don't have to go to the bother of making a new thread!

lol was just bout to post what riven did~

yesh we will be other people coming as well (some want to learn how to sew, others will wanna hang out/sew their own thing/help others out etcetc)
we should have plenty of machines there as well~

Depends on what you're doing with the props - so far I haven't needed drop-cloths and I've been working inside. Just thinking -does the place have a sound system we could use or want me to bring my speakers? Will plug into anything with a headphone jack.

So I went and bought fabric/patterns today. I'm now having to resist starting to make them because I bought them to work on at this meet~

I really hope I get scheduled on at a time that isn't during this. Even so, I'll probably be sticking my head in from a few minutes before/after work.

maybe rather than a sewing night we should label is a PRE-COSPLAY night. in the sense of making whatever needs to be made for the cosplay in progress~
