Legbelts? Hm.

I'd suggest you buy seperate buckles, and then the type of fabric you want (vinyl, I'd presume, since they're belts) then cut the fabric into a belt-like shape and attach it to the leg with the buckle laced over it. ;)

I'm gonna assume we're cutting those out for time, but I'd ask JVCA.

Also; they'd break up the continuity of the skit a little- we've got it moving at a good pace with what we've got, and remember, the audience has a very short attention span, and they might lose us if we start going 'dadadadada'. ;)

In all seriousness, that interlude could be time for us to do some kind of partner dance, while Rosso walks in and just kind of gives us a 'WTF?!' look.

LOL. That would make Rosso's "Why are you all so happy?" thing fit more. I'm not sure - originally I was very anti the 'dadadadadaaaas', as they take up time and interest, but if everyone started doing a caley (spelling?) dance then it would be funny -- especially given that Shelke is the only one who would suit dancing. So if we did, we'd have to keep it short. o_O Ionno, what do you guys reckon?

And in the original draft it *was* 'why won't Vincent fall in love with me!?' -- but this version is much better. Very Happy

I'm gunna go back and edit the original skit with the changes. :)

EDIT: I've changed the original on page 3 - can you guys give me your thoughts on the bits in italics? I'm having issues with the rhyme/tempo on those bits...

Okay, here's my 10c on the italic'd bits-

Azul: It sucks to be me.
Shelke: NO!
Azul: It sucks to be broken, mutated, and turning 33. It sucks to be me.

Okay, for this maybe we could change Azul's line to...

"It sucks to be kicked by my employer when I stop and scream- It sucks to be me."

How does that work? ;)

Azul: It sucks to be me! It sucks to be Azul--
Shelke: And Shelke!
Azul: To feel like a zero --
Shelke: To not have a help!

How about...

"To fe~el ugly-"
"I'm posessed by another girl!"

If we stop the background music briefly when Shelke yells her line, we can get away with the awkward pacing.

The dash in 'feel' is to denote it being pronounced as 'fee-ill', to keep the pacing right.

Nero: We've been the closest of brothers-
Weiss: Ever since we joined the Tsviets!
Nero: But Weiss -shoots an evil look at Weiss- knows lots of ways to make me really upset! Oh- every day is an aggravation-
Weiss: Come on! That's an exageration!

For this part, I had no way of denoting the timing in either piece of speece-

Nero's 'closest' is run together, so it's almost one syllable. Sadly, I've forgotten the correct musical term for this, but I've tried singing it, and it works.

Also, 'Tsviets' is pronounced there with very little strength on any syllables, so it flows fine with the music- I pronounced it to myself in that circumstance as 'Sve-ets', very little time spent on the 'ets'. Trust me, it works. ^^;;

Tifa: Try having people stopping you to ask you "Hey Tifa, where's Cloud?". It gets OLD, fangirls.
TSVIETS: It sucks to be you-oo-oo! It sucks to be you!

The fact it's not timed right with the original is fine here, as the music stops in the off-time part. ^^

ALL: It sucks to be all of us but most of all it really does just suck! It sucks to be you~ <all posing as it is now the end of the skit>

If we cut the background music off after 'most of all', and have Tifa yell out 'It really does just suck!', it'd probably provide the best ending, and for an extra bang...

We could have the last line sung with one Tsviet per word, as such-

Azul- It
Weiss- Sucks
Rosso- To
Shelke- Be

And then have everyone sing 'you', loudly, in a sort of harmonizing tone, spreading our arms out in a final way as though lifting everything up, while we gather in the center of the stage. We could then have an ending 'dadadadada' with each character going into a pose on a 'da', in an order like...

Shelke
Azul
Nero
Weiss
Rosso
Tifa

Then just leave it there.

Sounds weird, probably, but I've been running it through in my mind for a little while, and it doesn't come across to me as anything but a good, classic finisher.

I like Shelke's line, but I'm not keen on Azuls - and I think, as long as Shelke yells it, like she's totally freaked out by it, then it'll be fine, timing wise. Should it be "Be possessed by another girl!" instead of I'm though? o_O As for Azul... "To be disappointed"? Although it doesn't fit with the original 5 syllables of "To not have a job"... Hmmm... But then again, we don't have the original "to not have a date" 5 syllables to keep in time with, so it sounds okay to me when I sing it. <Will do the recording today> I'll put it on Youtube with no pictures just so you guys can hear the song, lol (Can't think of anywhere else to put an mp3)

My issue with these lines is that they're a syllable too long - I can't piece out in my head how the timing works. If we got rid of 'of', so it was "We've been the closest brothers" it still makes sense and fits timing-wise. My issue with Weiss' line is not the word 'Tsviets', but the word 'the', lol. Does "Ever since we joined Tsviets" make sense? >.>;

My issue with this one was the lyrics, not the timing - do you guys think it's okay? It sounds a little odd to me. o_O Like, why would they ask where Cloud is? Ionno. Thoughts?

I like this idea a lot, excpet for the dadadadas at the end - it's kind of like how Lord of The Rings Return of the King had a million endings - we really only need one, and it's like we've already finished with the ALL: You~ thing.

'Course we want you to be Tifa! Like Jess said, we wrote you a part; that's our way of saying JOOOIN US.

Oh, and Tifa is a midget next to the Tsviets anyway. Like seriously, Cloud is the same height as Rosso, Rosso is shorter than everyone but Shelke, and Tifa is short next to Cloud. Therefore; Tifa = Midget thing.

I like your edit of the Azul line. ;) Let's stick with that.

The 'feel ugly' thing was just filler, quite honestly, because I was hoping you could think of a cooler line. ;) I shall leave that to you, Master Obi-Wan.

The edit to Weiss' line is fine, but I think it'd be best to keep Nero's the same- he's comparing them to unseen and unknown brotherly pairings and with the 'of' it kind of ruins the line a bit, the way I see it. >>

How about...

"Try having Cloud ring up your bar to ask you- "Hey Tifa... Could you bring me some pickle juice? My girlfriend's starting to decay again." It. Drives. Me. NUTS."

Finally...

Cutting off the 'dadada's, then? Sounds good to me. <3
