lol sorry if this is totally off topic

but I thought there should be a reminder eventhough this is rediculously early

PREBUY/BOOK your tickets or you gonna suffer waiting in lines XP

you can get it from ticketek in the city and stuff before the actual event

and if you dont go to the city often i can get it for you ... you just have to pay me back when you get the ticket

yeah i know this is ridiculously early

but just thought that you all should be reminded that we CANNOT have a rozen maiden x tokyo mew mew battle down queen st if we havent pregotten our tickets XD

Has anyone bought their tickets from ticketek online before? Can you pay by internet banking? Or is it credit card only? Anyone know? I started thinking about booking yesterday, but never got round to it.

I kicked off quite a long thread on the pulpspace forums about the pricing. The tickets themselves are at their face value, but they charge you a service charge, even if it's online. Top of my head it was $6, the upside is that it's a per transaction charge, so it doesn't matter if you order one ticket or five. ie: group buy

Edit: Have just gone through the first part of the online ordering and 1) You can only pay be creditcard, and 2) apparently it's $8 service charge, even for venue pickup, and 3) You can't order Wellington & Christchurch together, it wants you to do two separate orders with $8 charges each!.

Will stop off at a physical Ticketek office at some point and see if you can do it as one buy through them instead. You can also pay eftpos if it's over the counter.

actually it is more expensive to prebook because they will charge a service fee

so itll be cheaper if you go to a ticketek store nearer to the event and that way you only paying for the ticket price

so im going to buy my ticket closer to the event

or ill get my friend to buy it for me and pay him back =3

Yeah, I think they don't charge the service charge, or charge less of one when it's actually the venue ticketek office. I bought mine over the counter last year in Lower Hutt for the Auckland one and they still charged me a service charge, but bumped into starjedi (pulpspace forums) in the street once I got to Auckland and I think she apparently only paid a couple of dollars extra buying at the Aotea Centre Ticketek.

As for the pulpspace forums, yeah, they've been notably absent for about a week now. If they actually manage to transfer it without loosing all the posts (like they have the last 3 times), there'll be a thread buried in there somewhere. The long one I kicked off was from last year before the Auckland Armageddon.

The only catch (although I think they've fixed this now) is last year in Wellington you couldn't buy the 2 day pass at the door. You could only buy single day passes, so you probably do want to buy it beforehand to be on the safe side.

Yay - my Christchurch Geddon tickets arrived today~! [dances] But - naturally, I'm regretting this now as I didn't realize that there was a price difference between ordering online and ordering in person. >_< Oh well: in my opinion, it's Geddon, it's worth the extra cost. I'm also annoyed as I couldn't seem to be bale to buy a two day pass, I had to buy each day separately. o_O Anyone else had/have this problem?

As for getting the Auckland Geddon tickets - does anyone know when they're available?

I'm also curious as to what this Queen St. Battle is all about... Is there a thread anywhere for it? [looks]

ive ordered thru the online ticketek before and they seem quite good, i got charged for $5 (remebering from the top of my head) and used visa ^_^
Once you buy them, u can grab them anytime before the actual convention too

was a it a shorter wait to buy your ticket than a door sale? coz if i remember correctly, we ordered tix online and stood in line for a good half an hour to get in.
there was a line for door sale too, but i didnt see how far it actually went O_O;;
oh and we ordered it like a week before the actual event... no rush no rush ^ ^

THE DOOR SALE LINE WAS HUGE. It actually got halfway round to the civic. That little alleyway it went down? Deceptive. Makes it look like there are only a few people left: actually HEAPS.

I'm definately prebooking this year. I bought a 3 day pass at the door, but then had to line up again on the monday 'coz Vaughan decided to come, and didn't have a ticket. @_@

I've never prebooked mine before, but last year was akfdjaslfkdsa and we had to wait for over an hour in the rain.
Plus I've never been for more than one day before ^^

Tickets are $16 for a single adult ticket.

Last time I bought one from Ticketect (sp?) I got charged and extra $2. However, that wasn't online though

In 2006, I went, there wasn't any line, it was a Monday, we went in the morning, and I got in for no prob at all. Same in 2005.
