From what pictures I can see, she seems fine but rather small. Just pointing out I'm 5'7'' ish. Won't be a problem? I repeat that I've never cosplayed before

n wn hey, i was planning to cosplay Mikuru but I don't want to buy another wig D: so just wondering if anyone has any ideas of who i could cosplay...

Technically Hinata's hair is like a blue/black, but a lot of Hinata cosplayers just use a black wig coz it's easier, so you could try Hinata's Shippuden costume with that wig? pic1pic2

Ok i'm gonna jump in cause i NEVER have gve this a proper go..
I'm around 5'4/5'5, 130 kg ... Deep greyish (?) blue eyes, and medium brown hair (>>. and a fear of wigs XD)

It would be awesome if i could try to cosplay something at next year's dunedin event, and make my first official go at the ripe old age of almost 27 lol.

i need help!!
RAWR! i lost my motivation for the cosplay which i planned to do (road form dgrayman....) so yea.. im a noob but very keen on makin a cosplay.....i have no textile skills watsoever so i wanna cosplay someything manageble....

im around 155 in height and have black medium short hair
i don plan on getting a wig
uh~ hopefullt tat help cause i need help
this is for auckgeddon.. so my time is really really limited...................................................................

Any chance of a photo, even if it is just a head shot?

Also look through the Auckgeddon thread for groups that are going. That may give you some ideas of a easy cosplay. EG, We probably need an Ash for the pokemon group.

Will think, maybe. But Ash should be fine, unless you don't want to crossplay. It seems to be much more acceptable for girls to cross play than guys. Although I am sure people will point out that in cosplay guys can cross play too, but you don't see it much.

Our resident (Christchurch) Ash is a Woman. So is Luffy. Etc.

If you are stuck then Mandie_Chan is bringing up her Ash cosplay. The hat will fit, the jacket may? If you ask her really nice she may? lend it?

When posting there is a button above the text box, it will say host an image when you move your mouse over it. Click that. Then choose file. (Assuming you have a picture on your hard drive.) The first time you may have to join imgserv? But then after that you click the host it button, and wait. Or there are ways of editing it manually.

Also there may be an easy wolfs rain cosplay too (Monday). Even if not Chezza then the female doctor? Can't remember her name.

Or pick any other anime/tv/movie/cartoon set in modern times? Bound to be many of them.
Or do you have a kimono?

And yeah waiting until you have learnt to sew stuff to do the cosplay you want is frustrating. But everybody goes through this.

But you can also go second hand shopping. Take a few pictures of cosplays you like, and see what one you can find clothing for. Even if you end up having to make one or two items you have saved yourself a lot of time and effort. And probably cost compared to buying fabric, etc.
