Im short, I think around 160cm
bleach blonde (almost white) hair past my shoulders, dont mind getting extensions, or dying my hair Very Happy

and am basically a ball of energy..

was thinking of doing Konata cosplaying as Haruhi because I already have the costume

quite thin and olive-ish skin, blue eyes, dark blonde hair (don't know if that helps?)

Ill take a crack, 195cm, fairly skinny (85Kg), light short brown hair, been told gold eyes but im pretty sure there brown and contacts will change that anyway.

Think thats all you need?

@ Olive and Kilometre: I hear blonde and female, my first thought it always Misa.

I find 165cm is a good height where you can get away with both short and tall characters depending on the heights of the people you're cosplaying with (also platforms help for tall)

Hmm... gonna put my two cents in.

I have been trying to find the right character to cosplay for a while, so any help/ideas/suggestions much appreciated =)

Height: about 168cm, but am very slender so look taller than I am (sort of elongated looking like a character from code geass)

Hair: short

Hair colour: any, would consider a wig, but prefer to use my own.

Eyes: blue, would consider contacts.

Complexion: porcelain.

Difficulty: the more difficult/complex the costume the better.

Gender: Either, I have no preference. Would be fun to see if I could pull off a male character ;) but finding a character that suits me is most important.

Umm...thats all that I can think of at the mo, but if I missed something please do ask =)

Any suggestions considered.

I have been out of cosplay for several years and I am not up to date.
I would love to make an amazing cosplay costume for next year.
But I could use some help Very Happy

My most favourite costume that I have made is my own designed Death
from the musical Elisabeth inspired by the versions of the Takarazuka theatre.

I am 37 so no too girly young characters (Chii for example)

Height: I am tall! about 180cm

Eyes: Light Blue but I don't mind wearing lenses

Hair: A bit of a mess at the moment. I do like wearing wigs

Gender: I am female but love to crossplay too

Don't like: Showing of my belly ( I could if absolutely necessary just don't feel that confident)

Difficulty: The harder the better. I have a lot of experience and love to be challenged

I think I prefer a character from an anime or movie, something I can really get into.
There are some amazing costumes from computer games but although
I like the outfits I don't really like the games: like Granado Espada or Aion.

I would love to hear your suggestions.

I would love to see you as someone from firefly/serenity if you have ever seen it. There are the ball gowns out of the episode 'shindig'?
Star wars opens up a whole world of interesting costumes? Also the pilot suits out of Pacific Rim are challenging.
Really depends on what you are interested in.

I haven't seen Firefly but heard so many people talk about it that it is now on my must see list. I looked for the ball gowns but they are not very challenging for me I 'm afraid.

Star Wars.... I think I have seen only one of the movies completely because I couldn't walk away. Not my taste of movies but I have played Knights of the old republic. And I should get back to it.

Pacific Rim I liked that movie, those suits are something I have never done before.

I think I like the idea of making an armor.

I'm a slim build will probably be toning up a bit of muscle though to help with my job

There is a official video on the making of the suits by the SFX company on youtube. Obviously you would have to change the process slightly unless you have 3D printers for prototyping.
