I can say RMD has kinda set off my gut, but I don't tend to trust my gut feelings in this game. As for the other two, not so much. MM's not said much and Sel's being the smarty she usually is in mafia.
Anything in particular that's making you sus? Or just feelings?

You've played one game with me in the past, I doubt it says much about my playing pattern. It's also hilarious because in the one game I was Mafia I was the most apologetic player ever. For being new, not for being mafia.

I'm eternally wary of MM, but I am not particularly suspicious of her, nor RMD or Sel, to be perfectly honest.

Hmmm, still a little suspicious of Rengen, not sure what I think of PP atm and as for Greg, he hasn't said or done anything to arouse my suspicions but I'm always wary of him. Not suspicious of MM or Selphiroth at this stage but like Alex I'm always slightly wary of MM too.

This isn't really an accusation against me, at least I don't read as so. However I'm going to reply now anyway, because I can foresee that in a few days time, assume I'm still alive, I will be grilled about why I didn't defend myself when asked question.

I haven't had the opportunity to play as Mafia on forums often. Only once, actually. That was the one time I flat out didn't know what to do as it was my first Mafia ever, and I don't ever plan to be that apologetic again.

In the FFVII game, I was playing as Cultist. In which I was aggressive with the similar reason as I am aggressive pro-town character - I don't know who the Mafia are and I want to find out. Had I lived long enough would I have established a different strategy? Maybe. Just remember though, for that game while I was alive I was indeed zoomed onto person I suspected as Mafia, which was how I got skinned at night.

How would I play as a Mafia now? I don't know. Maybe in a few games time someone can tell me my playing style and if it differs. Maybe I should start to look into an erratic playing style. Actually, I'll do that in the next game. It will be fun.

That's fair enough. It was no accusation, but fair enough that you'll show your point now.

As for me, I'm not sure I'll be around much for the next few days. I got kicked off the net at home -- I'm sneaking on as it is. I'll try and get on as much as possible, because I want to at least contribute before the day is over (and also defend myself, if need be)

Dialogue.

1. Peter, Lightning, investigating someone. It's Maqui, judging by the what he says.
2. Snow, attempting to protect Lightning, but Lightning does not want.
3. I'm not sure. Sounds like it's Lightning again, but... 8| If this is the kill wouldn't it be appearing before the protection, considering it sounds like Lightning was already wounded during the protection.

Also mafia is canonically evil people as we can see by Rengen's death, and from the night story we can see Team NORA is in the game.

Since Jihl was in this I almost wonder if the mafia consists of the three Sanctum generals - Jihl, Cid, and Yaag. Technically Barthandelus is the main antagonist though... /shrug.

I... sort of want Zeo to face claim. Not sure yet - I think I would like to read over Day One first.

From that, it indicates that Serah was already a rock at the time of the game, hence there won't be a Serah here.

Damn. Well that sucks. Not unexpected, but still sucks.

Okay, I am not sure what the second part in that story was, but sounds a bit like flavour to me.
The first and second parts being the kill, and the first obviously being the investigation.

YAY! The mod took pity on us for losing our cop night one!
But what a mess... it is only thanks to the mod that we gained anything at all from the night story.

As for suspicions, I am looking at RMD and someone else for the moment.

At least we have some info which is good and I think I know who Maqui is and it's enough to make me leave that person alone.

As for suspicions, unsure right now. Guess I'll just see how the game plays out. Also, this weekend I may be a little infrequent with my posting, I really want to get my costume finished.

You say you are not surprised that the cop is dead, yet you solidly opposed the idea of him telling us who his target was. If you expected him to die, why didnt you want him to share his target?

First of all I was not the only person who was against the idea yet I do not see you voicing suspicion towards them. I have always been and always will be against Town Power roles stating who they intend to target in the night phase. I just think it's a bad idea for reasons I stated earlier in the thread and it's also one of my pet peeves when it comes to Mafia. Of course I'm not surprised that the Cop is dead, I mean Mafia would be fools not to kill a claimed Cop and nobody was sure if we even had a Doctor in this game. Just because I disagreed with you, does not make me suspicious and here I actually thought you had intelligent reason for your suspicion towards me. stare

Also, you never gave any good reasons and just repeatedly stated how you never think it is a good idea. Please point out where you actually had a reason.
And please RMD, I am no where near finished, hence why I started with 'First of all'. We will move on to the next reason once we have moved on from this. And I am not done yet, so please refrain from insulting me just yet :)

@PP: I don't quite understand what you mean by this, I mean if Peter dies his NA should still go through (Unless he's roleblocked or something and with a simple set up like this I doubt we have a roleblocker anyway) and the information will be in the NS anyway. If he does live (Assuming we have a Doctor, I hope so) we will get the information regardless so I don't see why he should tell us who he is going to target. I think it's a bad idea too as it allows Scum to attempt to sway Peter's choice in their favour. (Ie: To a Townie or the GF). Even if Peter does live and is able to tell us who he targeted, we all know from experience that Cop results are not always 100% percent reliable. In my opinion, it's never a good idea for Town to discuss who they are going to target in the night because Scum can see it too and act accordingly.

See the bolded bit? ^^ That's why I was against it because it would have been too easy for Scum to try to convince Peter to target a Townie or their GF. Not only that but like I just mentioned, it's a pet peeve of mine, I've been in a situation before where I was Town power and Town tried to force my hand when it came down to who I should target, it ended badly for both Town and me, I have been against such things ever since thanks to my own bad experience.

Oh and sorry for insulting you, don't take it personally, I'm just in a bad mood right now, got nothing to do with Mafia btw.
