General Progress

I should put some progress photos up now that we have a camera...next time then! orz

I finally started Mu's head (after some searching for mattress toppers xD) but the rest of the black fleece for the "skirty-long-body-thing" will have to come later. The white fleece mockup looks like some sort of a comfy dress though~ 8D

Well I haven't done much but now that I have my choker all pinned together ready to sew my machine decides to play up for the first time!! I think I'll have to go into the shop tomorrow after work to see if they know why it's doing what it's doing. It must be the thread I'm using - metallic stuff, because it's never played up using regular thread.

I have progress of sorts. My material has arrived. Straight from the mill in england to NZ in 7 days! That must be why I paid 44 pounds shipping. But worth it.

This is my first time styling a wig D: fffff- so scared im going to screw it up.

Ffff- The hair is like borderline $2 shop kind. Its from Spotlight but its pretty good quality.

@Pixel ZOMG crappy wig fibres ftw. xD My Cloud wig was a cheap $16 off TradeMe. 8D For simple spike styling, that's all you kinda really need. Well, imo, anyway. xD

OHYEAH LIKE ALMOST DONE.
The bigger main spike is on the wrong side lolol. Oops. Kinda did it mirrored xD;;
It sucks so bad Dx The back has big gaps in it ffff-
....That spike needs to be shorter >l

Well I used a $20 nylon wig for Brock. Could never get it to style properly. May try it once more, when I am really patient. But it was still the closest I could find.

First of three pairs of rollerblades arrived today. Unfortunately, they're the ones I'm saving for the good version of Spitfire. I want my test pair. ;_;

Also came with HUGE BUBBLE WRAP. /pops each bubble. Like someone clapping. Plus it echoes.

I found the perfect shoes I need for my Eternal Moon cosplay!! The only problem is that they cost $119 and are tan - which means extra cost to get them dyed white... But they're so perfect!!

I have made some progress on Eternal Moon - here's some photos to prove it:

So I caved and got the shoes - and then took them straight to the shoe dying place to get them dyed white. I have a sort of pic of them before dying:

My own progress.
Went to Save Mart and bought a knitted woolen top to use as make shift chain mail for my Dark Link. Also found my old red skivvy. So now I need to find either bleach and then grey dye, or just grey dye. But I'm not sure how well grey dye would take to going over top of red.

Either way, it's a little bit of progress. ^-^
