General Progress

So I've finally got the bodice and sleeves completed - all I need to do is make the collar and then the top half is done! I'm now on to the skirts - fun times pleating and sewing 3 circles skirts.

So update from me... All my skirts are pleated and sewn together (YAY!!) now to get them hemmed. Also my wig is FINALLY finished and will be posted tomorrow and arrive by the weekend I hope!

I finished my design sketches for my chii dress for ACB.
Not really that much progress, but really exciting thinking about how I'm going to make it with my piles of white fabric and lace. XDD

so I got a call a friend Friday night that shes been struggling to make 4 costumes for upcoming con (lack of sewing machine) so I told her that I'd arrange 2 of them for her. Started sewing a Yuko (xxxHolic) dress Saturday night, spent Sunday on Ciel's stupid shirt and left it till tonight, heres where I am:

Fake eyelashes for Doll arrived! I don't have eyelash glue but when I do I'll take a pic of them + the contacts.

Also I finished paper mache for the headdress, now I gotta peal it off my wig head...

Edit - m-my paper mache brooooooke TT_TT I'll use glad wrap as a non-stick this time instead of cooking oil.

I've finished Beast apart from finding the right eyelashes and buying contacts. I would have a photo but with the boob lacing, choker-like neck part and general corsety-ness of the top, it is absurdly hard to get on and I refuse to put it on again until ACB and it looks silly without the right top.

I've also nearly completed my chest armor for Summoned Being!Himeji for Sun of DO.

when I see your progress pics. They took a while to get right with paper and mock ups but I'm very happy with the result. The back bow will look like the front but as I'm moving sunday I wont finish until after the move.

I'm off now to get my collar started. Hopefully I can get the mock up done today ands start sewing the real thing tomorrow.

So I'm on a cosplay roll! I re did the sleeves for High School Usagi - changed from short to long. Having longs sleeves meat I then had to make the cuffs with the 2 rows of red ribbon on each cuff, I'll post photos tomorrow when I get the collar atatched. I also recieved the gold fabric I needed for the 2nd hip roll so I got that covered as well.

bought crap and touched up my blades at pyros house todayyyyy
( D:< at warehouse stationary for not having the gluegunglue in stock)

aaaand my katamari head is nearly done!
just need to get me some of dem balls.... :9
i also burned myself with the gluegun while making this ;x;
ON THE HAND I WAS HOLDING THE GLUE GUN WITH. wry.
