YAY progress finally - my allergy to cosplay since geddon has finally worn off Very Happy

Working on Miranda's loyalty suit from Mass Effect 2. Today I have decided on a design for the outfit (bodysuit instead of top/pants) and started doing the blueprints for a pair of pistols. I am taking a leaf out of Volpin Props' book and doing blueprints first...how to make them con-safe, though is another challenge...:/

@Static: What Program are you using, I want to make my Original Battlestar Galactica Pistols from scratch, and making the Blueprints like that would be sweeter....??

@Progress: I have finished Beading the back of the Head Piece, now I am nearly finished cutting out the shoulder pieces! Very Happy

yay! Then I can bead them and then I can start on the Forehead piece and the dress! Yay!! But first, I need more Beads!! lol!

edit;; Made most of Maria's Skirt and shirt. Just need to add the bias to the skirt, hem it and add a zip. Need more fabric for the shirt though, for the random frilly part~

I'm nearly done with Lag's pants, just gotta add loop thingys for the belt.

and I finally cut my brown wig!

it was REALLY thick, I thinned it like crazy. Now I've got a wig for 5-7 characters 8DD

How many wigs do you have that you can use for Vocaloids now? 8D

Currently inspecting my wigs to see which ones I can sell.
Though I need to get better at styling.... Instead of looking for a new wig for every single character I do when I have one I could possibly use :>

*twitch* It doesn't look it but the skirt was about 60 or 80 hours of pleating and sewing by hand I'm now making hundreds of leaves to cover it. For those who want to know more:

The dress is completely draped on the form. No part of it can be patterned as it is so asymmetric and relies on the flow of the fabric for how it is draped. There are a few tricks for this dress, definitely takes a lot of looking at grain of the fabric to work it out!

UGHHHH. GLOVE MAKING, WRY SO TEDIOUS?

Also, have plied apart several old buckles for the letter bee bags, cut out scarf, and as i am completely unoccupied tommorrow, hopefully i can finish the bags.

I have finally finished my cranes. :X (they're basically just props for a {...} photoshoot, and I've been making them since May.

Even though it might not look like it, there are 1000 there. And they have been eating my soul for months. I'm gonna get better photos of them, with me wearing the whole outfit, sometime over the next few weeks.

I have finally decided to see what I can do with this pile of material. Most of it is viable to make stuff...But nothing I can see fit for any of my cosplays. Time to research~

Been working on my Shelke cosplay, since I had all the pieces cut out and everything. Need to get a zip cause I fail like that and grey thread.

EDIT: Oh for the record you totally can't see it in this photo but I put in all the seams and no seams that Shelke has on her outfit that I could see, that's a real pain cause the bodysuit is awkward.

I lol how this thread has pretty much died since Auckgeddon.

I've been working on Maria, even though I dont need her 'til WellyGeddon C: Anyway so I just need to add frills to the shirt, the skirts done. Then I need to make a Sakutarou plush, her crown, her bag, and sort myself out with some shoes, oh and paint the corset. But yes ^^

I only know one other person who has done the 1000 cranes. Very cool :)

Handsewing is killing me. 53 leaves and easily four times that to go... Thanks for the kind words :) This is The Dress I've been obsessed with since the movie came out in 1992.
