After being inspiried yesterday I decided to get a start on my Synchro Luka for Welly next year

Hat and arm thingers 70% done each, need to make them kinda browny, add trim and put the paint the thing on the hat, I destroyed an old handbag so I could use leather on the hat and will completely remake the arm bands if I can scavange any more for them. Upholstry nails hurt if they go into your hand also, just a tip there guys.

My school bag arrived today!! So sometime when I have money I'll go get it dyed a darker brown and then it'll be perfect for the Usagi high school uniform cosplay!! Yippee!! I'll post pics when my laptop decides to play nice with the internet.

Got started on Wellington straight after Auckgeddon this year. Got the head and base of a Voltaic Spear drawn up on polystyrene ready to be cut out.

I didn't know you could make spears out of polystyrene! Shocked I too am making a spear, for my ChchGeddon comp cosplay. Razz I bought a couple of cheap Halloween tridents, hoping to use the plastic piping from them, one has to be cut down to size and somehow attached to the other one, have to work out how to do that. :think: At the moment though, I am too sick to work on cosplays, which is annoying as I bought stuff to do just that, well mocks ups anyway. Will post here when I'm well enough to have made some progress ... hopefully. sweatdrop sick huh

Normally you use a piece of tubing (or wood?) that is just small enough to fit inside both the others, and you glue it together.
(Well O.K. you normally use a piece which is larger, but for what you want.)

I am making a piratical shirt for a friend. It is 99.9% done - and the wrist elastic has just been eaten by the cuff and I can't get it out to sew it into a loop! ARGH!

I've completed the decorative trumpty thingamabobby that goes on the front of Luka's Synchronicity top apart from painting it gold.
Sanding it to get it really smooth was a huge pain but all in all it was way easier to make than I thought.

I've finished my sonic cosplay bar attaching hairclips to the ears and painting the shoes. I went and bought fabric for Ciel today, 6m of red fabric, 1m of black Satin for my scarf, or possibly starting the shirt. I've nearly finished the shorts, just need to add a zip, button, and sew trimming on... 'cept trimming is $5 p/m ;A;
