| I'd like to do monday because grass tends to stick to polar fleece [which is what my saturday cosplay is mostly made out of] and I'm wearing all black furry material on sunday, however it seems like everyone'll be busy on monday, so I'll just man up, pack a picnic blanket and vote for Saturday.

| @Admin /Shoots I'm all black on Saturday. </3
I vote Sunday! xDD Should there be a poll for this thang?
I don't mind sitting down in my Cosplays as they're all pretty simple. It's just the heat from wearing all black. And if I take off my jacket, I'll burn to a crisp(I'm very pale xDD). |

| I'm keen!
Saturday would be best for me- I'm wearing a lot of black on Monday and ALL black on Sunday due to shadow Roxas. If it's on Sunday I probably won't come because if it suddenly turns to rain, all my black make up will run and I'll look like a melting Roxas xD |

| Tail is right. xD Picnic blankets will help greatly with grass stains.
And if we sit by the fountain on that map JP posted, then we'll have a fair deal of shade thanks to the trees~ 8D |

| Why so I seem to be the only one who's wearing black on Saturday rather than Sunday? XDD I'll manage. Seems like most peeps are keen for Saturday. =D |

| ^ Underneath I'm wearing a very shoddily put together singlet which exposes my shoulders, back(depending if I get a wig or not) and upper chest which will equal instant burn in the sun. xDD If we find a shady spot, I'm sure I'll manage. xDD Just ignore me. I'll come along no matter what day it is. XD |

| What Admin/Tails said, there's also, uh, a fair bit of concrete around the fountain. xD Anybody who's worried about grass stains should be pretty OK. ovo

Now I wish I was cosplaying someone with a sun umbrella! Hollow out your Tidus sword and hide an umbrella inside it? 8D |

I'm OK with Sat or Sun, though I'm more reluctant to get my Sat cosplay dirty... :O |

| This is a great idea! I'd definitely be keen for Saturday (or Monday, but uhh, yeah, comp day for so many of you!).
Also, bring-a-plates are great! As long as every one can bring something. I'll also be making something veg-friendly |

| I'd say Monday is out. neimhaille who proposed the picnic is going to be tied up erm. judging everyone. They'll still need to go over the paperwork from the submissions, so Monday is probably going to be out.
I'm good with either Sat or Sunday.
Edit: Although reading neimhaille's post she did say it could be a nice de-stress after the judging, so i guess it depends on how long it takes and if theres time before the on stage cosplay. |

Re: Picnic? To save some monies ;) By neimhaille. 30/09/10, 11:57 am |
| Well how about an informal gathering on all three days? I can supply gluten free biccies most likely (I am sort of kind of not supposed to have gluten but I do because bread is the yummiest thing in the world and GF bread... is not ;) ). I just about have the recipe down for super gooey chewy choc chip GF biccies (it involves a lot of butter....)
Monday we almost certainly can store food in the judging room (which has changed by the way from what is on the schedule and always check at the info booth on the day). There will be a door minder but we have pretty much got the timing of the judging sorted to go smoothly and quickly.
Fountain sounds good, if there is shade and the ability to avoid grass :) I am totally blind and missed it on the map so if someone can point it out that'd be awesome :) Ange and I will be on site some time on the Friday during set up so I'll have a look at the fountain area then and see what I can bring in the way of blankies. I have a vibrant orange and a vibrant turquise which together makes for a pretty eyewatering combination.
I also have knives and forks and napkins left over from my picnic birthday earlier this year- all in tasteful pale pink. I think some plates as well. All of which fits into a basket of cunning.
