General Progress

YEAH MOTIVATION. 8DDDDD looks great, greg.

finished ashe's funeral hoopskirt, back to work on the wedding dress now. going to start the chest armour, which is what i've really been dreading. 8Db

I have progress on my Calintz! But only a little orz.

Shoes which have been cut up and painted, and are waiting to be glued together again with the new straps (the blue crisscrosses and the black cord that wraps around the ankle) and soles.

Just about to go and sew the facing onto the outer shell of the jacket! Yay~ And then I shall rejoice and take some photos before starting on the detail.

While having a sewing party at Rani's house I:

-Made the main body of my quadropus

Spoiler:

- Made a pattern for Syill (I'm still amazed it worked rather well 8DDD //first well working pattern I've made - FROM COMPLETE SCRATCH, PRETTY MUCH 8D)

- Helped Lily/Tama-Pon with her skirt, which also worked rather well 8D.

- Made the base of Maya's bells (also see signature xD) out of chicken wire and then paper mache. Had to make three of them - the first was decent, but wonky, the second was ... a bit stupid, and the third was horrible OTL.

My progress is good. spend all of sunday (including during chruch lol) drawing on my glove. Nearly done, so I'll take pictures when its complete!

Well, I could have done a base pattern without yours anyway - with yours, there was a neck already there =w= and the paper was cut into a good shape to draw pattern bits on xP.

MORE PROGRESS~

So on the dress/skirt edges of Lilithmon she has gold rings, and I had no idea what to make them out of... so I went to the $2 shop AND they had the shower curtain rings lol
Half are sprayed and half are not~ I think they will turn out quite well ^_^

Made tights for Lilithmon too~ (which I have never made before!)
Choose great fabric to use and they look a lot better than I thought!! Also I've ninja'd the Jandals underneath them, looks quite good me think.

I've also spraypainted the 1st coat onto my secret cosplay shoes and I'm hoping with more layers it looks better... in fact I may even change to making shoe covers ^_^;

um... yes been another good day of work
now to make lunch and hand sew the gold onto the leggings!

hehe thanks! I thought it was a nice cheap idea!

I wasn't actually sure whether or not to chop off the funny top bits so I've just played around with some for awhile and heres the final idea I'm going with:

So here is what the outside layer will look like~
-I will ziz zag around the whole to avoid fraying/

and on the inside I'll hand sew the funny bit down (but for now tape is the go lol). This way they are easy to put on and they will stay in place~

Mandie - My internet is having a hissy fit so I could only see your gloves but they look awesome!! Is there really a hidden Mickey? If so I'm determined to find it!

As for my progress - I've finally made an appointment with the Optometrist so I can have prescription coloured contacts for 'Geddon!! I can't remember if I mentioned it but finsihed my boot cover mock up yesterday so today after dinner I'm going to cut out with the proper fabric and hope like hell that I did everything right.

Just need to add half the black line to my raspberyl skirt (Oh my god I hand sewed the WHOLE thing) and the basics of the top are done (need some more fitting and then I can hem it all....plus I need to add the collar (Don't want to think of the accessories)

As for Stephanie....well I got the material and Wig today O_o (Gem and I got matching wigs which is good).....So I start on that in a few days.

Then I have to get Material and start on my Mums cosplay.

So Much to do....
