Your cosplay workspace

I am curious to know where ya'll work on your cosplays?
Tables? Floor? In the wilderness?

Do you have specific places where you work? Are you a messy worker or very organised when you make cosplays?

I work everywhere... my dad ended up giving me my own spot in the garage to work on my cosplay lol (though now its done he wants the garage spot back) when I started getting blue latex on the carpet O.o
I think I'm a messy worker because it somewhat saves time by not cleaning/tidying up an area when you've got other cosplay stuff to get done Razz

I'd been thinking about a thread like this for awhile, so it's great to see someone doing it! I'll post up my workspace pics later, but beware of mess as my dad had to move stuff around to fix the plug socket, and I just don't clean up after myself very often D: My material still gets covered with feather fluff from my last years Auckgeddon cosplay ^^;

I use my dining room table xD. Well, normally it is just covered in mess, so if I use it to sew on then it gets some use. There's a mass load of scraps on the floor below it xD. I'll take a photo when I get home.

My room is too small to use as a sewing room (or more, I have too much stuff that clogs up the place). So I use my living room/dining room and annoy people with my mess.

I have converted my sisters old bedroom into a sewing room. It's kind of small and there is carpet on the floor that keeps getting covered in fur or whatever I happen to be sewing... But it works.

I also use my room. 8D Because it's convenient and I don't have to get out of bed.

I can't sew at my flat, there's no space - I head up to my parent's place. I prefer working on the floor in front of the TV, sewing machines set up on the kitchen table in the next room bu it depends on what I'm doing. Also I do actually need to clean my stuff up when I'm done and leaving, because mother tends to tidy otehrwise...which means I can't find whatever she's tidied. I'd love to have a dedicated workspace for sewing, but right now I can't afford one...when I have a real job, I will re-asess the situation!

I sew in the spare room where the sewing table is. But dad recently turned it into a mini-exercise-room, so there might not be enough room now... I'll just spread out into the lounge, and maybe my sisters now-empty room. I also do lots infront of the TV and computer...

My room's insanely tidy at the moment and has little A3 posters I stick lotsa ref pics too for my upcoming cosplays~ Tis hot.
But most of the time I end up in thee lounge 8D

I hardly have any space in my room... so I use my bed. sad

I used to use the living room... but I got the carpet with lots of red fluffs of fabric on it... but now my bed is my current workspace. ^_^;;

My workspace is always changing, whichever place has the largest floor area.

My current favorite place is Gemmas work after hours, she works in a sewing store so lots of machines to work with (Oh overlocker how I love you)

We are in the process of cleaning out the spare room and turing it into an official sewing room.

It varies depending on what I'm doing but it goes like this.

Wigs: Zume's place
Costume: Seka and Marly's sunroom
Repairs: My room, family room floor, Seka's place

I don't like making cosplays on my own. It's more fun with other people around doing the same thing

then riven moved out so i used her room,

Today I was finally allowed to have the spare bedroom as my cosplay studio, I have in the three hours it has been mine managed to make the room almost as big of a mess as my room was when I used that
