Un-bra's and the like By Guest. 18/04/10, 04:15 am |
| So my ball costume (when I get around to finishing it, *panic*) is going to have a neckline that reaches down to about 2 inches above my navel. And will be made mostly of netting. (Oddly enough, this outfit is from a "family adventure" film.) This means either going either bra-less or buying an un-bra. I'm not really worried about flashing people - I know some of you lot still find boobs attractive but I'm even over my own boobs.
But do unbras help much with shape and support? Anyone with experience with them? Is one brand better than another? Any help gratefully appreciated. |

| I think with them it depends on how big your bust is to how well they work. And an idea is finding a way to stick the sides of the neckline to yourself so the chance of flashing is reduced even more |

| Yay for 3 years of wearing these things under backless dance costumes at competitions. Have some opinions based on my experience:
Un-bra's help a little bit with support and they do help with shape but the helpfulness decreases as boob size increases, this is also true for support.
Also I can say is that the $15-ish ones are crap and don't stick properly/begin to fall off after about an hour, go for $30-$50 ones instead and that the silicon-y ones in my opinion and experience are better than the ones that have the fabric covering. |

| I was gonna get some Hollywood tape if flashing looked like a possibility, and the neckline is gonna have bones in it anyway. As for bust size: small. I can go without a bra, it's just my boobs look better with a bit of support. If an unbra doesn't help with that, I probably wont bother.
PI: Awesome, thank you!! Are they one-size-fits-all or do I need to find one that fits? |

| They are in cup sizes from a-d but band size is a one size fits all kind of thing |
