My friends are absolutely crazy about Dr Who, so I'm going to try and make a effort to understand what the heck they're talking about and watch this season Very Happy

So far, I'm enjoying the new doctor. However, I did prefer Tenants hair...

On UK TV they are showing a night of Doctor Who to celebrate the new Doctor coming, and there is a competition you can enter online on the main UK. TV website to win a trip to Armageddon ( in Australia ? ) and win heaps of awesome Doctor Who gear. :3

All you have to do is say what your three top Doctors are, and explain why your favourite Doctor Who episode is your favourite.~

It sounds ttly awesome.

I, for one, am seriously stoked about the new series.

I'm enjoying it so far, following it from the UK and downloading the eps every Sunday when i get home from work. Will be buying when it becomes a box set =)

I was pleased, so so pleased, with the first ep, but then with the next two i started to cringe a tad. Then we got

and my face seriously lit up like a Christmas tree.

So far, it's all good, it's picking back up and i'm starting to relax into giving Matt Smith a chance as he's pretty good. Not David Tennant, no, but good enough. He has his own style and personality that i've just got to let shine through and stop comparing.

Not that I've seen this episode yet, but it's written by Toby Whithouse, according to DWM. Whithouse is the writer of Being Human--possibly the best series ever, except nobody really watches it here--and he's pretty clever in regards to plotlines and stuff. So hopefully he won't let us down with writing cliche vamps into Dr. Who?

Also, I don't care that it was a while back, but DT's hair is seriously amazing. Trumps all the other doctors by a mile ;)

Not quite, the new writer (Steven Moffat) is the guy who wrote all the scary episodes in the other seasons 8D (Girl in the Fireplace, The Satan Pit, The Empty Child, Blink... etc.)

So the new lead writer decided to buff the angels? Not amused. It's not as good as Blink, but we'll see how the second half turns out.

HEY EVERYONE. THE DOCTOR GOES TO VIC UNI.

I'm 100% I passed him in the corridor today on the way to English. He was sitting down outside a lecture room talking with people. His hair was black instead of brown though and his bow-tie was blue and not burgundy. Couldn't see Amy though. :B
