Woah....this is living proof that you can make Con-Safe amazing looking props XD

I got some interfacing and applied it to my material and now I have smething that works a LOT better for a vest.....I just didn't like it when I was trying it on and heard a loud RIP!....luckily it was on a piece that is going to be covered up later (it's like when the overlocker ate a piece of Belles skirt last year)

The bulk of Naveen's top is made, but I've still got to sew on all the little patterns on his back and belly. Then make the shorts, crown and paint the shoes.

Rozalin I'm not putting any time or investment into until I see the state of the skirt, which won't be until Monday. If it's going to take too long to fix-up, I might dump the idea of cosplaying her (though I REALLY wanna complete the group for the lead Disgaea females + get our photo with Captain Gordan! :B ).

Has anyone ever brought a 20$ pair of glasses just to take the fancy lenses out & brake off the arms all in the name of cosplay?

That's what i just did & it looks so much better 8DDD..

Syrus/sho =100% completed
Tao Ren =90% just need wig.
Tao Jun =80% I need to paint the dragon ;___;

Today I:

- ran my silk through another dip-thing of dye remover, with interesting results...it's definitely LIGHTER, but the light bits are wayyyyyy greener than the rest of the fabric! I'm going to leave it for now; if my new fabric arrives in time I will redo the whole lot. Otherwise this will just have to do!
- re-cut and sewed three leotards, ready for fittings.
- finished cutting all components for a jacket, which is now half done.

STILL DO TO:

- finish the jacket, and notify customer that commission is complete and payment is now due.
- seal and sand, and possibly re-paint snake and boot things for Ivy.
- polyfilla Ivy's sword.
- go to Rani's place, fit her leotard, and help her draft a new pattern.
- SLEEP then start all over again tomorrow!

.......The skirt didn't dye black, even after it was soaking in the dye for a very very long time.

I'm so ready to give up on aegis right now.

If it's mainly synthetic fibres, there's a chance it won't dye.

about 2 hours away from finishing funeral!ashe's skirt, armour etc. all included! SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. I CAN SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.

Progress of the day:
- Went to lecture, recorded lecture
- Completed another 10% of my assignment due tomorrow. It is now 1/3 done.
- Met with Jen for 30 min for a quickie lunch and discussion <33333 //labu
- Met Natalie on the way to meet Jen (lol 8D)
- Picked up a mattress, a bean bag and a tv
- Lugged a really heavy old ass but super awesome sewing machine home from the South to the West (yay my first ever owned sewing machine)

@Kiki, have you looked for a tag on the skirt that usually have what it's made of and washing instructions? That might have what the material is on there...

Even with the stiffest interfacing, the pointy boob parts (they go up in a M shape, not... out like Madonna) of my Scarlet Witch bodice thing are too floppy. Boning wasn't enough either because it didn't have a good... I don't know, base or something. Gonna have to sew in some clear straps.

GAAAAHHH. Means I have to scrap the boob part completely and do another pattern. :'(

Bra: Whirlpool stitching? Remember reading somewhere about how that was the way they made Bullet Bras (think thats the name)

ashe's massive train is drafted, all i need to do now is sew it together and paint it which i'll do when i get home from band practice tonight. funeral skirt = almost done. shoes for everything bought. need to finish last veil tier and do wedding bustle + shoulder armour but IT'S ALL IN HANDDDDD
