General Progress

Made some anti-progress last night, I unpicked the sleeves on the jacket I'm making cause they sucked. Damnit, I've done this before when I made the Nephrite costume =/

At least the lining will go quicker since I know what I'm doing. In any case I might have to start from scratch using a Polyester suiting; one reason being that I've mangled it a bit thanks to the useless pattern, another is that the 100% cotton is pretty damn transparent, you can see all the seam allowances

Started making my Cyndaquil flames today and cleaned out my room so I have room to do work ^^;

I still have crap loads to do V.V; not keen

The Skirt is in the dye now, It's been in there since about 6pm, Idk when to take it out o__o

^Might want to let it stay there for a day or so or it'll come out faint. i think. textiles teacher told me that. 8D

@Kiki: Maybe you should google some instructions? I've never had to leave anything in for longer than 45 minutes, but it depends on the brand.

Today I finally finished the train on my Ivy dress - painting is DONE. Also finished the sanding on the snake belt, and sprayed one coat. Problem is, the difference in porosity between the polyfilla and the bits where gesso/PVA soaked paper shows through shows up really badly. sugar honey iced tea.

Starter Making a Basic Vest patter for Stepahnie today....Oh god I so far behind.

Going to buy material for Ms Busybody tomorrow and start on that asap.

Raspberyl I am not stressing over....Made the Giant Skull and attached it to the zip (Omg it is so cute) it now just need eyes.
Started making her cuffs....the only thing I am worried about for her is making the tail and Wings (more so the wings)

Kaname skirt done! Hope it's better now D: (it better be!), and since I'm wearing it shorter now (I think General Progress - Page 7 Icon_eek

), I need to remember not to bend over ahahahaha. But now I want to take my blouse in at the sides /facepalm Oh, and I couldn't actually put a zip in the skirt because it turns out the side seam was in the wrong place LOL so I have to struggle into it.

progress? after i lost $54 worth of fabric on the bus i went on strike now this week is a mad dash to finish Stephanie, (which wont be hard) do some of the little sister (which will be a little hard) then next week go hard on Sporticas, and finish Charlotte. then its just shadow man what ever i can help Teg with on Big daddy and finding my St Trinians outfit. yay closet cosplay

I have 1 perfectly sitting wing on my harness for Lilithmon~
the problem now is getting the other wing to sit just as perfectly lol
*is currently bending wire with no end*

hoping I have made all the wings by the end of the day, I think its possible~

Yeah - I went through all the boody hassle of dyeing them and then decided I didn't like it. -___-;;;; it was dumb. Done now though, and no turning back! And also thanks Very Happy

Started Dying my wig (raspberyl) last night....right mess I made (yay for having no back/front yard), just finished the second layer and I don't think it is going to get any better....so I jsut have a mix of light and dark pink (light on the under layers) but it still looks good (it aint a white wig anymore).

Then Mums wig arrived today just need to work out how to get that thing in a behive (I can do behives on real people but never tried a wig XD)

Had a cry last night as my material for Stephanie is too flimsy and now have to invest in interfacing (bah I'm too poor) *smacks head* and it's hard to get the shape right whilst accomodating for my boobs (I'm sorry I just ain't an 8 year old girl)

Have all the pieces done for Scarlet Witch (well, the bodice anyway), just need to put them all together and make them fit right. Why must the female body be shaped so weirdly?! Why could I not find a pattern?!

This is too much for a noob like me D':

Also just tried on my tights. Even after confirming with the seller that they didn't have the weird band underwear thing on the thigh, THEY DO! So I have to buy ANOTHER pair because I absolutely don't want that, as I'm pretty much wearing short shorts/hot pants, and that would just be uuugly.

Every one else in here is looking great though. I can't wait to see everyone's stuff come together.
