I'm going to Lifeway College in Febuary, but i may be able to get a ride to aucklageddon with the lifeway people at the stall, no promises.

but let's establish who's going to be who. Sounds like you're keen to be Jaine, and I'd be keen to be Mal, so that's settled. anyone else wanna be a serenity character?

One of the guests at one of the ChCh Geddon was asked about TV writers being asked to write comics. He said the can not do it because the timing/story flow is too different so he hates it. With one exception, Josh Weddon. And he said that Josh can cross genres and formats probably because he is the ultimate fan boy.

Tin Tango, I am going to do Jayne some day. So I have a few little thoughts on the costume.

Also Emma got us to do skits, to try to make her laugh. I did a Jayne Skit, did not get her to laugh, but did get her to swap shawnee for vera. Not the first time that night I had a laugh at shawnee's expense. But neither of us (me and emma) broke character though.

Anyway I am also trying to get someone I know to make me and Rocky Jayne hats!

I've thought about doing Kaylee or Inara (I love Kaylee, but I look more like Inara... gah), but I'm so booked for next year D:

I am thinking about holding a Firefly marathon soon. Maybe. If I'm allowed.

I really want to do Kaylee's ruffle dress. Thats like, my number one dream cosplay. And I'm currently trying to track down some clothes to cosplay Kaylee in ther regular outfit. Harder than it sounds.

^ I saw that on your sig a while ago, I did fangirl a little. Kaylee's ball dress is the most hilarious thing ever, I don't have the cojones to do it (and uhh, not the skill either, but let's forget about that).

You could just do Kaylee in her greasemonkey suit?

Also, Firefly marathons are awesome. And it's great, because there's only like...13 episodes!

Cosplay.com has pictures of Kaylee and Inara sitting on a lawn together in there Shindig dresses. Is truly amazing and inspiring.

And yes Rocky, we need a firefly marathon. But I am thinking after Christchurch Geddon Please. I mean I will be busy with my comp outfit, SCA garb, holiday, Canterbury faire. If you can't hold it I will still hold it after we (start and) finish Revolutionary Girl Utena. I know you said you had two friends who would come, I possibly have a few, and Sakura probably will.

And Tin Tango, I remember a certain mean russian mafia boss that I think you could play?

Somebody should play Zoe too. Shes kick butt!

We've talked about it a few times, I'm sure he would love to do Captain Tightpants at some point.

Actually River Tam has to be the most fun. Act neurotic, speak cockney, run and hide, scream and then kick butt like nothing else, and she is the ultimate jewel in a Firefly group!

Actually that would be a cool plan. TinTango as wash (Or Jayne)? Me Jayne? (suppose I could do Simon Tam?) I'n not quite tall enough, but who is? Sounds like we have Le_Saboteur as Inara, Rocky as Kaylee, SS as Shindig Kaylee, TEMPLAR_1337 as Mal (or Simon Tam).

And I would like to suggest that we have Pseudonym as River Tam, and JVCA as Zoe!

And when? Auckgeddon 2010? Assuming Rocky and I can make it? ? Feel free to suggest any other.

Yep. That was Awesome! Though they killed Wash off early... I was kinda waitin for him to say something hilarious.

Highlander you can do Jayne, then I'll do Shepherd Book or the bounty hunter Jubal Early ("... does that seem right to you?").

Though a Firefly marathon would be fantastic! So long as I get lotsa notice, and an idea on location, I may be able to make it.

His pistol is pretty unique. I reckon I can take one from my collection and paint it up to look like Mal's pistol. What I'm more concerned about is Jayne's weaponry. I mean, Jayne is the "Heavy" of sorts, so he usually carries something that would be laborious to build for cosplay.

Yeah, I wanted to build Jaynes gun, the big one he uses when firefly is stuck in the trap, and he has to shoot that station in space.

I have just started a collection of big guns, so far I have "Sasha" from Team Fortress 2s Heavy Weapons Guy, and Dad made me the Soldier's Rocket Launcher for Xmas.

Me and my friends were meant to be going as Reavers to CHCHgeddon sometime, but they kinda bailed. Or maybe I bailed by joining lots of other groups >_> Iuno.

Also, I should fix up my River cosplay so that I can actually wear it in public.
