I hand sew all of my cosplay Yeah, I havn't finished a whole cosplay by myself >_> So its not a plural yet. (But srsly Aegis 0__0 I can't beleive you hand sewed all that.)

@Carni-chan: yes Of course, I am still going as umbreon, it'll be all summery though :)

@Catness: Yeah, I had machine sewed some of it, to figure out it was too big so i cut it all apart then handsewed it all. so yeah ^^'' gotta say It's my best costume ever :)

Pict0rs of my Masking Tape Overload babies (which still need a paintjob afterwards). You can do great things with cardboard, masking tape and scrap paper. <3

hemming up my Meiko armholes for the jacket in a different way, this way it'll sit properly me thinks. hopefully anyways. Take ages to sew :/ will finish it tomorrow, and the skirt, and then hopefully get started on Axelinn's jolteon ears

Burda 8186 - Suit Pattern. There just isn't enough information either written or pictured. The written/pictured/info on the pattern together do not appear to be uniform in what they're saying; maybe it isn't accurately to scale or otherwise it's just wrong. I've spent a night staring at the collar and trying to figure out what the hell I'm meant to do. To top it off, I have a piece of pattern that looks like it belongs in the collar area that I cannot seem to find referred to in the instructions written or pictured.

@CMKMStephens: I guess you missed the point in time where Static about how Burda patterns had aids ...

And sewing the collar even with proper instructions from a pattern is a PAIN

I usually sew the collar:

-Sew the bottom and top collar together leaving the bottom of the collar (lengthwise) unsewn, Sew it with the wrong side of the fabric facing outside, Then flip it to the right side you should have 3 sides sewn and one long side unsewn
-Turn the lining and the fabric inside out so you see the seams on both side
- Pin the collar so that its in between the fabric and the lining, and when you turn the fabric and lining and collar hems are hidden

This is for a regular coat collar I don;t know which pattern you;re using but good luck. And I hope my post wasn't too incoherent =w=;;

@CMKM: OMG. That's the same pattern I have and it is HORRIBLE. I had so much friggin' trouble with it, it's insane; I also wound up with a bunch of pieces leftover. The instructions are useless, look up tutorials online,m or buy a cheapie Kwiksew pattern - Kwiksew are amazing.
