Nifty video!But instead of a solid mass of hair, I want it so that individual locks get woven upwards, but to that kind of 1 foot height.
I'm thinking it might have to be a wig, if no other reason than it will take me SO LONG.

You can't see the hair very well in this vid, but it's about the same height as the top of her collar.

Made Shion's skirt
Bought a GORGEOUS blue wig for Dratini

I bought a 2.5m reel of wide black ribbon from the $2 Shop to stitch onto an old shirt (around the collar and the cuffs and outline of the rest etc.) but amazingly it's not enough. I'm short about ten centimetres or so. Laaaame. xD;

(cbf making a whole new Steampunk cosplay so just throwing together a closet Steampunk outfit with some modifications.)

Cottons and all remaining little bits bought for current commissions and one of my own costumes. Waiting on money to order more stuff for Ivy, and apparently the rest of the zips I need for Eva are out of stock EVERYWHERE. GRRR. Oh yes, and no cording for the straps of my claire dress...very annoying!

I've got about half of 2 sides of the wings covered in feathers, these fellas are only a metre long, why am I sick of it already? gaah and I keep inhaling feather fibers ewww

I just bought some more black ribbon down at the Dollar Store as well as lots of pins (120 pins for less than two cents each!) and some... black lace? ...I fear this Steampunk outfit may turn borderline Lolita. >_____>;;

I made two sailor fuku (sayonara zetsubou sensei and lucky star) in 5 days 8D would upload pictures except I don't have any ==;;

I have made a half assed attempt to sweep the floor

Must dispose of that small hill of scrap fabric and lay out the fabric for my commissions and restart finishing them

Got more fabric today so I can actually start sewing part of Sakura!! Hit 2 stumbling bocks with my star wand but now have heaps more ideas (much better then the ones I had originally) from my mum and a friend!! So I have to wait until tomorrow to try and get it more complete. Which is a pain really because I have today off work but have to go back tomorrow and I'm in the creative mood!! sad

|D Let's see... I've cut the sleeves for both layers of my Zashiki kimono, sewn the back seams for both layers, and made ...two collars D< because I have to swap the layers around therefore the colours on the first collar were wrong.

Most of my today consisted of pinning/sewing black ribbon and black lace onto a shirt and being stuck with aforementioned pins while trying it on several times. Ow ow ow ow ow ow. D:

I'm making progress though. The lace seems like it was a good idea now!
