My Sakura wand is almost complete, just have to figure out how to make the jewel parts at the end and the top near the hoop.

Having trouble finding the right zips. T___T It needs to be double, long and thick. Berninas and Spotlight peeps are giving me odd looks.

^AWESOME staff. Is that paper-mache?

Nope, not really. I used PVC pipe for the staff then cardboard and wire with polystyrene and modelling compound for the hoop. For the staff, a foam board base with a little paper mache to hold it together and then modelling compound on top of that.

@Sakura: You could use Paper Clay for the gold bits around the jewels, and for the actual jewels... idk, rhinestones? 8D?

I'm having trouble finding smooth round red gems... My Spotlight doesn't have any. Paper clay is a good idea for the gold bits, might try and find some. Thanks for the input Admin!!

Saboteur- Thanks!! The wings look much better far away than close up. They're entirely built up with modelling compound - kind of tricky but the results are what I was hoping for.

Spent the last couple of weekends reversing the wefts for my Yugi wig i.e the long wefts are at the bottom and the short ones at the top and thery are all sewn in upside down General Progress - Page 30 501139

Haven't quite finished yet, need more hair.

All the hair now sits nicely when I turn the wig upside down. That should make it easier to style.
So if you ever need volume in a wig, sew some of the wefts upside down XD

And my Rei cheongsam thing is now finished.

Just need to make pants, arm wraps, a head band and the wig.

I finally decided what cosplay I'm doing for Wellygeddon. And I'm going to stick with it this time. 8D

After about 3-4months, that's all I have to be proud of XDD

But now I am in SUPER AWESOME COSPLAY MAKING MODE... now I just need money.

My Yoite (Nabari no Ou) hat came, so here's a (crappy) pic of me wearing it and the jacket I'm going to modify for him. Still need gloves, turtle neck, scarf, and wig. I'm going to get my mum to knit the scarf Very Happy
