OH. Yes! I emailed her and got back an only-slightly-polite email, and it arrived yesterday :) It wasn't dye though, it was sodium alginate. Also, Tillia sell through Goldings, when I was there this morning I saw a whole bunch of procion mx dyes for cottons on the shelf. Also a sugar honey iced tea of soda ash, should you need fixer!

I tried to find more heavy iron-on interfacing at Spotlight, but they had none :/ They don't have any of the fur I need either ;A;

I have a small list of things I still need to get and then I should have everything C:

I checked Goldings yesterday, but they didn't have the colour dye I needed. I'll check the other one in town some time.

@Alex Coolies~ I'll look through the other fabric shops in Wellington first though. //hopes to do tomorrow~

I have started cutting out all the pieces for Maya's bows 8D. I so far have done four small ones (although I won't be sewing them until after I have dyed them >__> And until I've got more interfacing. I have some left, but I won't be able to do interfacing for the bigger bits D: ... The bigger bits being the two big bows and their butterfly butts 8D. )

Can't remember if I've said this or not, but I bought 6m of $2/m satin for my mock-up/lining for Amila, and I've got some light brown/cream flannelette for the fuzzy back wings. (Man I am so desperate to make her wings)

Pura, if you get desperate, I have some of Dharma Trading's "better black" - which is basically a really really really dark purple. I have about half a pot left, and you'll have to do some playing to get it to not go BLACK black, but if you get desperate give us a yell.

It's the second to last dye colour in the list here: http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/3796-AA.shtml?lnav=dyes.html I also have heavy interfacing, but only about half a metre and I think I need it :/

How long does that Dharma site take to ship, and how much is the shipping? Do you know?

But yeah, if I can't find anything else~ Would the dye you have be made lighter with less dye in it?

Lol, well I have imperial purple too Razz

the shipping is about twenty bucks NZ for three pots of dye? Three colours cost me around $40 last time from memory. I have imperial purple, royal blue, emerald green, better black and oxblood red (but that's reserved for a commission). I'm pretty much done with all the colours for now, so can part with some :)

...in 36 hours I'll tell you? XP I'm using it for direct application on rayon, so not the usual method. When I make it up for use, it's a really intense purple - basically the same as the colour box on the dharma site.

Lol, I'll drop the pot over tonight - just use what you need and give it back to me. There are some quite specific instructions on how to use it on the Dharma site, here: http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/164823-AA.shtml

You need a LOT of salt - purple is one of the colours you should double the salt for - and soda ash, which you can get from goldings. Soda ash is a prick to dissolve, too...and hurts like a betch if it gets in your eye. Just sayin'. stare

Should I make Reith's outfit an one-piece?
As in; attach the white skirt to the top? Personally, I think it'll just be more complicated if I make it a one-piece.
