Hey Jess (or Jen, whoever reads this first): where do you buy your photo emulsion from? I had a look at gordon harris today, and came up empty handed. Which is good, because I don't actually need it right now, but I wanted some anyway. Suggestions?

If you know a teacher (doesn't have to be a uni teacher, could even be primary) ask if you can borrow one of those 'school supplies' catalogues - they have screenprinting supplies in there and if you ask nicely you can jump in on an order. Very Happy

Much cheaper than going through any any art supplies shop. After school programs (such as Skidz, who are in Wellington) also have the same catalogues.

in BAD news, since my laptop died, lost 100gb of data and had to be sent to auckland, it also ate the medley. so i have to start again. Neutral

yeah, but i lost the audacity file that had all the cues and stuff so i could move the tracks around. unless we just use one of the previous ones? but i didn't upload the the next one i'd finished... so yeah, back to the drawing board.

Needs pressing to get rid of the flicky bits, and the trim on the under layers, but otherwise I'm quite pleased! It does have an annoying stiffness to it, though...I'm hoping with two more layers of skirt over it it won't matter. :3

To me, the flicking bits don't look bad xD. I s'pose it depends how much it works with the main skirt, and how much you want it to look like the original xD.

kay finally went fabric shopping today XD although i havent bought it yet (was concentrating on getting fabric for commissions and for CF cosplay)

i found LOVELY material called butter satin which zomg so nice XDD
best part is the price XDD RM10.80 = NZD4.40

i am pleased 8D
