| I downloaded Torchwood from the beginning as I knew my parents would never let me stay up that late on a school night to watch it, did miss the ability to discuss about current plot points with friends though without knowing what happens after |

| I'm lucky enough my parents decided they wanted to watch Doctor Who spinoff as well... that and we make good use of the recorder when we really want to watch something but are too tired to do so. (Or it screens at some ridiculous time.) |

| I've been a DWho fan since ... well... forever. Favourite episodes... Eh, too many, but off the top of my head probably "Blink". I absolutely hated the pig/manhatten/dalek arc - IT WAS SO BAD. Favourite Doctor so far... It would have to be Tennant. Of course I like them all, but David Tennant. He has manly sideburns for a start. Also, Spinoffs=FAIL (for me at least). I won't go near them. They're like... Sacrilige. Eugh. |

| Heh. I think my doctor who fanliness began when I was about three, and I was OBSESSED with daleks. Primarilly my Dads classic original Dalek salt and pepper shakers, from like...the era of the second doctor. They used to EXTERMINATE My Little Ponies..
I didn't watch an episode until I was about twelve, though. |

| My dad and daleks got me into it aswell, dad made a life size dalek when he was 15, I remember seeing photos of it when I was 7 and asking to see the show, I'm so glad I did because the old Drs, while not as cool as the recent ones, were awesome |

| About 12 years ago: My Dad was sooo excited when he found out they were going to play the classic Dr Who eps on TV!
Ahhh The whole family huddled around the small kitchen TV eating dinner and watching that nights Doctor Who episode! Because the classic eps are only half an hour each story would be spread over 2-5 episodes, and the eps ALWAYS ended with the Doctor and which-ever-compainion getting into some sort of trouble.
~*~The antisipation for the next week's ep.
~*~The monsters that look funny now, that were so freaky when you were 5 you hid behind the chair.
~*~The family discussion about the ep that lasted like an hour after it finished (the ep was only half an hour )
Ahhhh That was amazing times! |

| Aaah, about the end of last year i became drawn into Doctor Who. I had breifly seen an ep with 9 but only really got into them at the second ep of series 4. I missed so much *sob*
But, once hooked, it became an obsession. I rented them all from VideoEzy. ALL. I spent so much money ;_; But it was SO worth it. Am planning on buying season 1 - 4 at Arm this year. Maybe. Theyre slowly dropping in price *stabs the price tickets with a sonic screwdriver* Chaaaaannngeeeeee.
Have Torchwood series 1 and 2 but i lost interest halfway through season 1. I dunno why...just, didn't cut it. Do still watch them when i can, still making my way through, and it's slowly getting better again. I dunno. Guess they just don't appeal like i thought they would. Heart Jack though <3
Fav Doctor would have to be 10. Though 4 is a close second. I haven't seen many of the classics, but i'm working on it. Slowly.
So far am caught up totally on the eps. My brother is also addicted and so he stalks the website for the release date of the specials then downloads them asap. Ahh~ So lovely. *warm fuzzy feelings*
Fav ep would probably have to be Blink. I get freaked out and giggle at the same time. Love the last eps of season 4 though. Love Donna. She's amazing.
Haven't seen the Sarah Jane spinoffs but i enjoy her as a character. And K-9 too! Teehee.
This post jumps a bit. Eh. You get the jist >.>

| @MM; Not usually red, but the other day it was dark, and I had a red top on, and there was reflection and yea. Creepy, squished kitty is creepy. He looks like a gremlin, has ood eyes, and acts like a gremlin that's been fed after midnight.
Also, my sister is awesome and I got her addicted to Doctor Who, and now her new boyfriend, who she actually started talking to because they both play Kingdon Hearts (and she says shes not a geek ), turns out to also be addicted to Doctor Who, and he keeps bringing his external harddrive around and giving me Torchwood and old episodes of Doctor Who and such.
And, I rewatched the first episode of Torchwood last night, just because I had it, and golly, there's this one major bit of foreshadowing, if thats the right word to use in this case.
- Spoiler:
Gwen begs Rhys for forgiveness about working an extra shift. It was cute and couply. And very reflective of another time she begs Rhys for forgiveness.

| So I've finished S3 of Torchwood and am now re-working my way back through my Dr Who and Torchwood - I really want to watch S2 Dr Who but Olli took it with her after the party!! Grrr!!! I have also discovered that I don't esp. like S3 Dr Who - not quite the same and Martha just keeps getting on my nerves!! But having lots of fun giggling at Dr quotes!! So I'll be quite mad/insane/on a huge Dr Who/Torchwood high for work tomorrow... Which should get me through the day... hopefully. |

| I've currently got my brother trying to get Torchwood S3. Wishing him much luck. I think he found it last night >w<
My Doctor Who obsession is well known with my friends (and i've gotten others addicted >D). I used iron-on transfers to put a TARDIS on a tanktop plus my cell phone...well...it's ring is the theme song and it's text sound is the TARDIS landing >.>;; |

Don't know what I am going to do when I am not in his class next year.

| Thanks to Adrasteia and HelloFred, I believe, our group of friends have been assigned Torchwood characters based on personality xD A group of us are cosplaying them at ChChGeddon next year, except Ianto's cosplaying Owen, Owen's cosplaying Jack and Jack's cosplaying Ianto. I think John, Gwen and I are the only ones cosplaying the characters we were likened to... xD ... ... oh, and our Doctor. |

Re: General Doctor Who Geek-Out space!

| OKAY. OKAY OKAY. FANGIRL TIME.
Spoilers for The End of Time Parts 1 and 2. Don't blame me if you read them xP
- Spoiler:
1: Who was that lady? I'm thinking mother/teacher/wife/daughter. But seriously. So mean of them to leave us hanging like this.
2: The four knocks thing... did NOT expect that. Good on them for giving us hope.
3: That Time Lord leader guy was a jerk >:C
4: I liked how they made the bond that the Doctor and the Master shared really important - putting in how they used to run through fields together as kids, and how the Doctor would be honoured to travel the stars with him.
5: I was quite excited about Galifrey coming back... But I guess it's good that it didn't happen, after all that xD I was so *totally can't think of the right word. torn? freaked out? worried?* when the Doctor took the gun.
6: The ending... Well... MARTHAxMICKEY, I SO SAW THAT COMING AGES AGO. But seriously, Mickey has a thing for the Doctor's companions. And he had a beard. xD And Jack - I loved how the bar had all the aliens we know. And Alonso - from the Titanic, am I right? With Rose, well, that was just the coolest thing. So happymaking. I liked how he gave each of them a gift... Mickey and Martha, the gift of life, as with Sarah-Jane's boy (I'm too lazy to look up his name), Jack got *ahem* 'companionship', Donna got a whole lot of money, and Rose - well, he just wanted to see her with his own eyes one last time.
7: Now the important bit. Regeneration. I don't know the old series very well, but I have a feeling that might have been the first time he has regenerated without someone there to see, excluding the unknown 8th-9th. Quite saddening. Actually, thinking about what I know, the 7th-8th was alone too, right? Ah well. Still sad to see him alone. I liked the post regeneration speech - Matt Smith seems good. But if his catchphrase becomes "Geronimo" - I might just have to cut my ears off. Not stop watching, of course, but honestly? Tacky. Not in the tacktastic way.
/end fangirling.
So, other people's opinions? |

| Wow. Just wow. Also, man I love Wilfred. Why was it almost every talk he and the Doctor had almost had me in tears ;-; Bernard and David are amazing <3 <3 <3
and OMG, BEST.SCENE.EVER (well one of xD). I re-watched it so many times.
- Spoiler:
from his death to regeneration... all this happy music with the Doctor saying "I'm still alive!" and laughing, then... comes four knocks, and its Wilfred! Unbelievable. All this time. Just ughh what a twist!!!! "Wilfred. Its my honour"
1)
- Spoiler:
I've been reading on forums on all the different theories on who that lady was. I first thought mother. But notice when Wilfred asked him who he thought it was he looked at Donna in the background, but her mother was also in the shot. I still think mother though others have wondered if its some girlfriend/wife he used to have, or daughter. Some even said Donna. The answer was 'apparently' revealed:
- Spoiler:
in somewhere (I forget, narrative/commentary/credits iunno) that it was his mother. Though I read it on the forum so could be just rumour~
2-5) = totally hear you on those ones. xD
6)
- Spoiler:
"to get my reward" awwwww, that was so cool that he helped out his past companions. <3 I wondered if he would see Rose, I like that it was before he meet her. That was awesome.
7)
- Spoiler:
I dont know the past regenerations (I really need to watch the past seasons of Doctor Who (from 8 down)XD) heck, can't even remember how 9 regenerated - I'ma gonna go watch it now lol.) But, mannnnnnnnn. That was so sad. I do like how through the two episodes/parts they made 10 explain how much of a big deal dying was to him. If they hadn't done that "I dont want to go" wouldn't have had as much of an impact as it did imo. Aww his last words *tear* I think Matt jumped into a good start personally... also haha "still not Ginge!" Though I agree about Geronimo
